Torquay accounts reveal

No matter which way you look at it the club is still living beyond its means, and that poses as big a risk for its long term future as does it having dodgy owners.

Assistant manager?

As mentioned above Shaun Taylor has worked as Owers assistant before - during a less than sparkling spell at Forest Green Rovers. Interestingly the date of their departure from FGR was 27th August.

My guess is these next 2 games will decide lose both and surely has to go But York have wasted time in getting rid of him. He was appointed on a one ...

I doubt it, and I doubt Gowling would be interested anyway.

Is it really advisable to pitch a 16 year old into such a toxic environment? Anyway his professional contract doesn't start until March.

Go G.O!!

The treatment of Jamie Reid is absolutely disgusting and those who are abusing need to have a long look at themselves. Clearly he is short on confidence so perhaps try supporting him when he needs it most. It is ludicrous hounding him for not applauding the fans - to be honest I respect him for not...

Facing Reality

Location has nothing to with it. Liverpool was the dominant force in English football during the 70s and 80s despite mass unemployment and urban decay. Spain was one of the most economically backward countries in Europe during Franco's time but that didn't stop Real Madrid becoming the biggest club ...

Facing Reality

Last season TUFC achieved their first win against a Maidenhead side that literary just stepped off the bus. This season we faced East Thurrock United who had literary just got off the bus and struggled to beat them by two goals in what was one of the worst victories i have seen. The reality is this;...

Why did he only play 13 matches? Don't forget Pitman scored 11 in 28 before he joined us and achieved sfa afterwards.

This is a **** joke, right?
Gowling wasn't involved in the least in the previous three games that harvested seven points. Get this straight Gowling doesn't want, nor cares to play for TUFC ever again.

You're forgetting Gowling doesn't play on 3G pitches, one tomorrow at Oxford City and then another at Slough on Saturday.
it's mind boggling that in this day and age a professional footballer can turn up to work with a note from his mum excusing him from playing on artificial surfaces.
