Harrop

I believe Mr Harrop has lived in the area for quite some time. I expect given his years involved in football he has a lot of connections, considerably more than Nicho. I would like to add that this is not a slight on Nicho, I would like nothing more than to see him managing the team. He has shown gr...

Harrop

If I was buying into a business that I didn't have much knowledge about, I would employ somebody with good local knowledge, good connections and who I know and trust. This may be why Harrop is being touted as being involved in the running of TUFC.

Assets of Community Value: Plainmoor

It's a shame more supporters didn't get behind TUST and having Torquay Fans Limited on board would have given some impetus to the cause. This may have given more supporters belief that TUST/the fans could purchase and run the club.

Takeover of the club at an advanced stage

I have no idea what finances any of the groups interested in buying Torquay United have, so to me £500k isn't as unrealistic as it gets (there are quite a few numbers beyond 500,000!). Of course we should all be grateful for what Breed and Phillips have done in terms of keeping the club running. Unf...

Takeover of the club at an advanced stage

God! Who to trust? If Breed and Phillips were joking wouldn't they have come up with a more unrealistic offer? Anyway, if this statement from Torquay United Fans Limited has been made in last few days, the calling for additional funds is all a bit too late given a takeover is almost complete.

New Signing: Amos Kabeya

I don't think we should be expecting somebody who could only make the bench for Buxton and Stamford to change our fortunes.

Torquay v Macclesfield Town (5.15 KO)

Showed glimpses of what a good side we can be today. Should've scored 3 or 4 given the number of one on ones we had. Little mention for the referee, one of the few decent ones we've had this year. Hanging onto Ajala and Young is going to be hard. Youngy had a look about him that suggested he was say...

FA Youth Cup tonight 7:30 Plainmoor

Hargreaves said in a pre-Chester game interview that Ives is likely to start tonight. Wish it was being played in Clevedon then I could walk to the game. Should be a good match, Clevedon's youth set-up better run than seniors.
