Ex-Gull watch

Some unlucky deflections. At least he didn’t concede a direct punt from Donny’s keeper

National League | Torquay United v Stockport County | 03/10/20 3pm KO

It has been persistently p1ssing in Devon for the past 48 hours or so. I don't suppose there's any chance of needing a pitch inspection today?????

That would be just a tad disappointing :@

Torquay Utd players retained list shortly to be released

Has Nemane agreed a new contract?

I didn't hear him mentioned by GJ in his interview, and I thought he listed 12 not 13 retained (subject to actually signing).

Now that Kalala has gone, Nemane could be a useful addition, though.

Barrow v Torquay United, 1st February 2020

desperado wrote: 01 Feb 2020, 10:59 Expecting Little and Cameron to start. Probably with three centre backs, cue moans from some. Little Lemon and Hall midfield. Whitfield supporting
Reid. Wouldn't start Kalala in this game bring him off the bench to score the equalizer in a 2-2 draw.
Well, you got that just about spot on. :-D

AND Man City who were fighting United for his signature.

Reidy must have a better deal lined up at Real Madrid.

I impressed my girlfriend by taking her to her first live match - the 1-8 tonking by Scunthorpe in 1995.

Torquay United Women FC

A shame, as the women's game is gaining momentum and popularity nationwide. I saw them play a few times before the exodus to Buckland (who benefited hugely from our girls). I really enjoyed watching the female TUFC and found the games competitive and entertaining. I also followed the ladies' website...

Buckland Athletic vs TUFC PSF 13/07

What a great little ground. A super friendly welcome, a well-tended ground (even the paths hi-pressure-washed) and a smart clubhouse. So pleased they had a good crowd for all those burgers, icecreams and the outside bar they'd laid on. Surely a good day out for the fans and a good workout for the sq...

Best Three Moments of 2018/19 Season

35 minutes into the home match vs Concorde Rangers. Janneh's first pro hattrick completed and I was on my way to a loo break when the players huddled at the wall to celebrate; and I just piled on. (With apologies to the steward).

2019/2020 Kits

Yes, but, no but, what shade of blue??

And what happened to last year's infiltration of black into the colour scheme (which I personally would be glad to lose).
