Torquay United v St. Albans - 03rd February 2024.

I am sorry to say today represented a new low and rarely have I seen so much fury from Season Ticket Holders in Bristows Bench. This was an abject performance all round. St Albans played like a team who all knew one anothers game and they were quick and incisive and in Jeffers had a striker at the T...

Torquay United v St. Albans - 03rd February 2024.

Out of 25 predictions 7 think St Albans City will win at Plainmoor tomorrow. The team MUST know they have to produce their best game this season. The players have just got to get their act together. No sloppy passing, take your chances, no ball watching, no running beside an opponent for 50 yards wi...

National League South Form

Well would you believe it! Hampton & Richmond after an amazing run of form lost tonight when Welling in 21st and down to 10 men won 2-1. Hampton have now lost 3 on the bounce. On Monday night WSM score in 92 minute to draw 1-1 at Chelmsford. It just goes to show that at this level it is all abou...

Worthing v Torquay United - Saturday 27th January 2024

To Big Dave I am going to Spec Savers in the morning!

To Dave if she is that experienced I am surprised she missed a clear Pen.

I would have said exactly the same had the Ref been a man. It is not over analysis it cost us.

Worthing v Torquay United - Saturday 27th January 2024

I think the Referee due to inexperience thought the Worthing defender played th ball but what she missed was that before making contact with the ball he brought down Ash. It is a clear Penalty 9 times out of 10 but Referees with very limited experience of Pro Football are frightened to give a Pen. I...

Worthing v Torquay United - Saturday 27th January 2024

I aways felt from Day 1 that my biggest concern was that neither Johnson or Downes were intending to live locally.

I think this proves beyond doubt that unless the Management Team live within 40/50 miles of Plainmoor then it is a recipe for disaster.

Worthing v Torquay United - Saturday 27th January 2024

Well done Colorado only one to say 4-2 to Worthing.

Now Yeovil are miles ahead, Worthing are scoring lots of goals, Chelmsford have a mean defence, 27 conceded, Maidstone are big news we will be lucky to claim 5th Spot at best!

Worthing v Torquay United - Saturday 27th January 2024

Well if you go on the Form Table we are 16th for our Away Form and Worthing are 6th for their Home Form. However they are quite inconsistent but have the Top Striker in NLS with Pearce who has scored 22 goals.

I may be mad but I am going for a 1-1 Draw.

Chippenham v Torquay Tue 23rd

Having seen the Highlights that looked like a very committed performance in truly horrible conditions. No wonder the gate was only 651. What a chance for Collins at the end. Easy to say I know as he only had a split second to react but anywhere other than where he hit it was a certain goal from just...

Re: Ex-Gull watch

Sean Donnellan came on for Livingston in the 62 minute for his debut yesterday at right back and they won at last 2-1 in a Scottish Cup Match.

Re: Chippenham v Torquay Tue 23rd

Dave there is one thing you did not mention. Chippenham have a terrible Home Record. Played 14 Won 3 Drawn 6 Lost 7. 15 points out of 42. 20th on Flashscore for the Form Home Record. So we have the Home team playing TUFC whose away record is 16th in the Form Table with 13 points from a possible 33. ...

Re: Torquay United v Dover Sat 20th

I was at Plainmoor yesterday and in my opinion we were much the better side but nonetheless the overall quality was poor and once again we are indebted to an incredible strike from 35 yards by Brett McGavin. What a goal! De Silva played very well and I feel he is improving all the time and becoming ...
