Torquay United v Hemel Hempstead Town, Saturday 1st September 2018

Couldn’t resist the urge to go today despite me saying I wouldn’t until Owers was gone. At half time I thoughts we should have been 3 or 4 down with another hapless team performance. A stunning save from Bass was just one of several chances that went begging for Hemel. The Bristol lads were just exc...

Go G.O!!

Did any of those managers get the kind of treatment that Owers is getting? We were always going to get loan players in - I'm surprised we didn't get any at the start of the season. We've got a small squad so with a couple of injuries it was always likely that we are going to rely on the loan market...

Go G.O!!

That's fairly stupid because it isn't going to happen is it - particularly as it appears he has negotiated two loan signings. Its been pretty dismal stuff so far - no one can argue with that. It appears our forwards are completely lacking any confidence and most teams are just sitting back behind t...

Go G.O!!

Every morning ,as soon as I wake up I grab the iPad and check to see if GO has been sacked. So everyday thus far has started in massive disappointment. The only shard of light is that one day hopefully not in the distant future it will come to pass. What else is there to look forward to at the momen...

Gloucester City v Torquay United 27/08/18

Burnhamgull - Are you seriously condoning criminal conduct. Throwing a substance over a person in that manner is an offence contrary to Section 4 of the Public Order Act. Whatever your opinion of the manager there is no justification in that sort of behaviour. No wonder the club is in such a state ...

Torquay United v Hampton & Richmond 25/08/2018

The buck stops with the manager, yes, but problems off the pitch, most of which the ordinary supporter has no knowledge about, are having a detrimental impact on performances. Mr Owers has no money to sign decent players so he has to work with what he has got and being perfectly honest the current ...

Go G.O!!

Back to today’s game Chaps This is really hard for me to say but I want us to lose today. In fact I want us to get humiliated again . I would happily give up the 3 points now if it meant GO was no longer at the club come next Saturday. Never felt like this before but I will be genuinely ambivalent i...

Just seen the Owers interview . Oh my god !!! It’s alright everyone as When asked if there is anything that needs to be done in terms of loan players to address our weakness going forward he said “ yes we will have to consider it “ .
Consider it ???

MOTM - Hampton

Keating - looked hungry and had energy creating a decent chance
Cameron - solid and looked the least likely to make an error
Reid - worked hard but no cutting edge
Davis - moments of composure and one decent cross
Dickson - tried to get things going but had passengers around him.

Torquay United v Hampton & Richmond 25/08/2018

I came to the match having seen us against Bath thinking surely it can’t be that bad again. Especially after the Slough performance. Well let me tell you that it was the worst pile of shite I have ever seen at Plainmoor . And I’ve seen some shite there over the years . But the one thing struck me mo...

Agree with that. Reid put a shift in as did Cameron and Davis.
