So what if Osborne gave us an extra 5 years? It was and was always going to be, for nothing. If he did it with the sole intent of personal financial gain for him, his developer chums and board members then how can that be justified or given thanks for? We'd be 5 years further ahead from whatever fa...

I've put the facts out there, totally sober and without fear of libel but also mindful of the fact that I have a role in protecting the forum and Louis. I've dealt with threats from various parties and never shirked from telling people the truth. If some choose to be thankful for a failed play off f...

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester

I can't see us getting anything out of this game BUT I could never predict a defeat for us so it's a 2-1 away win.

I accepted long ago most of what has been posted about Osborne over the years, but everyone ignores the fact that for over five year paid all the bills and kept us in business, when no one else was prepared to step up. I will never believe his final game plan was to get his hands on Plainmoor based...

You are normally fairly even handed with your posts and it is obvious that it was known that Osbourne would not be the long-term saviour of the club, as you indicated at the time and consistently thereafter. However, his purchase of the club did provide a 'stay of execution' for the club which did ...

Now that you and your cabal of liked minded friends have single handed and victorously seen off osborne, your backs must be very sore for all the slapping going on. Who or what will become the target of your next vitriolic campaign, I imagine life is going to be very empty for your all. Perhaps you...

Yes, exactly. This revisionist rewriting of what a good chap George Edwards is needs to stop. He has been working for Clarke Osborne for years, doing to Swindon Speedway and others what they intended doing to us. The post above by the new poster paints a sobering reality of the crap Osborne/Edwards...

Begbies Traynor Administrators of Torquay United.

It's not commercial madness at all. It was a punt by a very substantial corporation and he was just a figurehead as he has been for them previously.

We need to start seeing things for what they are, not what we're told.

And if Edwards/Hayman are installed as owners does anyone seriously think anything changes? They're still Osborne lackeys and the club is still under threat. We'd be better with a Phoenix club than those two idiots.

I'm speaking from the perspective of decades as a fan not as recently as 4 years BUT aside from my concerns of whether TUST can take us forward as a club I am fully supportive of an organisation that truly represents the fans. What concerns me most is whether TUST can garner the trust of what has al...

Your idea has already been shown to fail. By being prudent, by being proactive and by being professional there are plenty of examples to show staying professional is the way forward. We don't have the united fan base that other clubs do. Professional or wither away and die.

Should all be very easy then. Did Mike Bateson ever state running TUFC was easy? Your flippant response shows where your mind has gone. Hard work, astute business decisions and reinvestment in vital areas of the club doesn't come easy but look where the couldn't care less model has gotten us. Commu...

How would you finance full time football?
The same way Mike Bateson managed to do it.

It would help if we had a decent accountant for a start.
