No thanks!

Plus we'd get the bad penny that is our worst ever manager popping up again!

Re: Championship striker

I wouldn't be against us signing Rory Fallon. He would certainly provide options but I have a feeling he would be out of our price range.

Re: Falkirk Fan Re Olejnik/Tam McManus Striker

I would be quite happy to see him sign, even though is goal record is not that impressive in recent years and age is against him.

Re: Official site

As I mentioned on another thread our previous chairman signed the club up for 10 years to ptv before he left and got the dosh. The official site is better since the new guy took over in some respects (as in posting some actual news) however the rest of the club haven't got a scooby about how the we...

Re: Jo kuffour

I'm not convinced that I would want Kuffour back. He was a frustrating player at the best of times when his careerwas on the way up. Probably even more so when it is one the way down.

New team captain

Mansell is still 'club captain' but Brain Saah is the 'team captain' but not sure if that only means when Mansell is not playing or whether it means that Mansell is the 'real' captain but Saah will wear the armband and toss the coin. Encouraging to read that O'Kane is on this 'players committee'...s...

Re: Official site

Is the website person Tim Herbert or someone? I think he used to report on Janner Argyle for the Janner Indy on Sunday. Therefore he obviously has some good journalistic credentials but I think he would be wiser to make the headlines on the site fit the story or make it obvious what the story is abo...

Re: Competition for Olejnik

Then why bother with a bench keeper at all, just don't have one if the guy you're gonna have is not good enough to play. That's like making a seat belt out of bog roll, it'll be there, but useless in an accident, so why bother having it? Matt. Excellent point. Rice was crap - probably still is. The...

Re: Official site

it is quite poor. i realise that staff levels may not be at their highest but i definitely agree that the club shop could be better. i actually think we could sell better stuff too, but thats a side issue. i was recently on the carlisle united club shop and they had last seasons shirts down to a fi...

Re: not bloody goal music again!!

Reckon the above and March of the Mods etc were played because the club never updated its record collection but to me they are synonymous with Plainmoor. RIP Fred Jago!!!!

Re: Two Poss Signings

Please - if you stitch together my better moments at Clennon Valley's 7-a-side moments, I'd look like a world beater. Of course, you'd edit out the misplaced passes, mistimed tackles and general crapness. I never look on YouTube videos as anything other than a highly selective reminder of what peop...

Don't think he does - not if you check his stats anyway.

Re: Triallists?

A Plymouth fan told me that they had sacked Rory Patterson. He didn't do that well there but I'd rather see someone like him than the trialist mentioned. Think he may have played with O'Kane at Coleraine as well.

NB - Just read he is linked with guess who? Bristol Rovers...f**king Buckle!

Re: like for like then

I think Charnock would have been out of contract this summer, and given who things were going he would have been first on the released list. If Robbo does go, I don't feel that we'll need another Centre half. I'd imagine that Saah and Ellis would then start as first choices, but in terms of back-up...
