Re: Lowest possible finish

Was 20 points from our last 10 games, they say 2pts a game gets you promotion over a season that would make 86.

So now its 9=17 :)
Think your maths maybe a little dodgy...2pts a game over the season would be 92 points... :slap:

Re: 2nd in the table, 18th in attendances

A model to follow is Exeter Chiefs. A club that a few years ago got crowds of a few hundred and now get between 7000 - 9000 most weeks. They whole operation is very slick with online ticketing, a tremendous matchday experience. There is a lot TUFC could learn from them.

Re: 2nd in the table, 18th in attendances

Not sure i agree with this, if you are a football fan then you would try to go to games. I live in West London, and when I can i go to watch Fulham. If i lived in Spain or Portugal, as i hope to do one day, I would go and watch the local team and probably develop an affinity for them. Well, you don...

Re: Lowest possible finish

When we finished 3rd under Leroy in 2004, we had 81pts. Since then , that has generally been enough other than a couple of seasons - Hereford went up in 3rd place in 2008 with 88pts yet Exeter finished runners-up a year later with only 79ts. On that basis, another 12pts might be enough.

Re: 2nd in the table, 18th in attendances

Torbay is economically deprived as are many other areas. The main difference between say Torquay and a place like say, Wigan, is that the general population of Torbay is not a local one. So many of the local populace come from somewhere else so have not grown up with TUFC, feel no affinity for the c...

Re: lets keep the white kit!

It is technically the 3rd season that we have used the white kit. It was introduced with the previous home kit at the start of the 2009/10 season but it's tenure as the away kit was short lived because of the black kit being introduced after one year. I have grown to quite like the black kit and I a...

Plenty of candidates for POY
I would probably go for:
1. Bobby Olejnik
2. Lee Mansell
3. Eunan O'Kane
4. Damon Lathrope
5. Kevin Nicholson

Congratulations. Excellent result and to beat that odious managerial pairing is sweet. I don't really have anything against Crawley as a club or their fans, more that I cannot abide Evans and raynor. They are scum

New Signing - Ryan Jarvis --- Merged Thread

I have a tip-off that he is joining us on loan from Walsall.

Think we had him before when he was with Norwich!

Re: Wholehearted promotion push

The recent run has been fantastic. ML and his players and staff deserve tremendous credit for what they have done. Today was disappointing as Bradford were poor but that is by the by. We have such an opportunity this season. I just fear that our squad is being spread too thin. The loss of Bodin, Rob...
