Re: Craig Easton

I'm with you on this one, Brett. I rate him after being less than enthused when I first saw him. He's far better than some give him credit for.

Re: What price Zebroski?

No Matt, circumstances change as you well know. I've never known WHG to be wrong before ;-)

Re: What price Zebroski?

The thing is, WHG is usually on the money, excuse the pun.

Re: Olejnik signs

Bloody brilliant I'm sorry but I never understood the messiah treatment of Bevan when he couldnt walk out 4 yards and catch the ball This is a great signing for us a strong keeper makes a massive difference to the defence I don't know what you mean when you refer to "Messiah treatment" re...

Re: Sill'sy coming home

It's Torquay related as he's an ex-player. I'll be going to see him up there a few times.

Re: Zebs

Closer to 8000 actually, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good cry ;-)

Just think, a non-league outfit from Herts who took less than 4000 to Old Trafford took your place in League 1

Re: Will Mark Ellis come back into action?

Ellis is good on his day but too prone to getting caught out of position. I'm not so sure he could do what you're suggesting though. I like him a lot but he does have plenty still to learn, Robbo for me every time.

Agreed, also something that Branston was always quick to point out ;-)

Re: Zebs

Buckle prefers to play him out wide because he's so good at covering a full-back but for me he is superb as a striker, a handfull for anyone at this level. He does have a temper problem but I've never bought into the theory that he's a loose cannon. He's committed, has a great work ethic and won't b...

Re: Zebs

I saw him play as a lone targetman away at Crewe last season (sorry, season before last) and he was absolutely phemonemal, he tore them apart and at times had three players trying to get the better of him. It remains to this day one of the very best displays I've ever seen by a Torquay player. I'd l...

Re: Zebs

I'm a huge fan of Zebs and if you get him you'll be amazed at his workrate. Sure he looks clumsy on the ball at times but his bad games are generally better than most players good games. Don't expect a sublime looking footballer, but do expect someone who never stops trying, he would be a great sign...

Re: Zebs

Thank you. I may go on to the main forum and ask the question as it seems not too many people use the banter board! Would Cheltenham be able to afford Zebroski's wages? I'm not sure what he's on but would assume he's one of your highest earners? I'll see if I can find anything else out on the Main ...

Re: Zebs

Indeed. But I have since done some research on him. Smashing glass over a teammates head, and giving a soldier a beating outside a nightclub. Very nice. And I have looked at his goals to game ratio, which is average at best. Why would we want to sign somebody like that when we have already bombed o...
