Re: Richard Hancox

He was married to Batesons daughter and most people thought, me included he was not that good a footballer. He then got jobs such as stadium manager, yes stadium manager and we were not convinced he was the right person for the job, if we actually needed a stadium manager at all.

Re: Plymouth Argyle v Torquay United - 26/12/12

It wouldn't surprise me if this game is off too. More rain forecast on Boxing day. So hope not another wasted journey for me like Saturday's.

Re: Torquay United v Northampton Town - 15/12/12

I also think the pitch looked in a poor state especially in from of the Bench. Doesn't make it easy for pretty passing football and hoof ball will be effective on a pitch like that and especially in the conditions we had yesterday. I agree, Northampton threw everything at us in the last minutes and ...

Re: Torquay United v Northampton Town - 15/12/12

Fair result for me. Stevens made the goal, great pass for Jarvis and he beat his man easily. Why on earth did the ref allow the teams to play in the same colour, I'm colour blind and couldn't tell who was who, ruined the 1st half for me. Someone must have complained as we came out in the 2nd half in...

What's the current state of Morris, Macklin and now Bodin. Do we know when the 1st 2 might be fit, could be crucial.

Re: Torquay United v Northampton Town - 15/12/12

I'm going. Lovely sunny morning here in kingskerswell so must be on.

Think there are heavy showers on the way but should be OK.

Mmmmmmm...... Don't reckon the attendance is gonna be great.

Tough game again, could go either way I reckon. Hope we want it more but who knows

Re: Bradford City v Torquay United - 8/12/12

I was not in favour of signing another central defender, I wanted an attacker like everyone else, but in the end it was a masterstroke, Lingy deserves credit for his decision as he WAS right. Unfortunately though we now have Macklin, Morris, Bodin (probably), Manse and Sarah out for the next match. ...
