Clarke Osborne

By the way, before Osborne took over, we were told the break even attendance figure was 1800. As we seem to be getting gates over 3000 now, are we going into the black financially? No it doesnt. That figure of 1800 was given by Dave Philips when Paul Cox was the manager and we had a playing budget ...

Solihull Moors Away Tuesday 6/8/19

I would easily settle for a draw for this game.

Torquay United v Borehamwood 3/8/19

Sorry, my mistake. Muddled them up with Solihull. Easy thing to do because Wood and Moors basically swapped positions last season. Not really possible to glean anything from yesterdays results but was surprised by Halifax's easy away win at ebsfleet and Stockport going down at home to Maidenhead.

Torquay United v Borehamwood 3/8/19

oldpedant wrote: 03 Aug 2019, 23:29 I thought they finished 20th, one above the relegation zone.
They did and I think this game showed the gulf in quality between National League Premier and South. Boreham look to me like they will be lower half of the table so it is only going to get tougher for us as the season goes on.

Torquay United v Borehamwood 3/8/19

My concern is that we struggled for the most part against ten men for sixty minutes. Reminds of the opening day match against Tranmere two years ago when we couldn't score against nine men.

Are you listening on the radio again, because that is not the game I am seeing.

New Signings?

I believe all the signing today are subject to FA clearance which probably means the paperwork won't be signed off until next week, hopefully in time for Solihull.

Clarke Osborne

This is the important part of your post and frankly it bloody terrifies me! In order to recoup the loans he has made he will have to include them in the asking price when he sells the club and quite frankly I don't think anyone would pay it. It's not Osborne's fault that the club was financially un...

I think the gloabal reach idea has come off the back of the Netflix film, that seems to have generated a lot of interest overseas from people who had never heard of the club before. If a few of them buy some merch and spread the name of our little club further then that's great. Aim for the stars a...

AIK/Pro Direct had an "anniversary" shirt that came in a box back in January - http://live.prodirectsoccer.com/en/articles/kits/club/nike-aik-1891-black-edition-football-shirt/ I note from the article this isn't the first "anniversary shirt" AIK have had done for them. Does this...
