Re: What was it i said? "Lack of attacking options"?

With regard to BB there were two separate danger signs from TUFC history. And they recur time after time. 1 A good loan spell followed by a contract. 2 The selling club is Swindon Town. On a wider note it was the Summer spinal surgery that has weakened us. Another lesson from history – how many cl...

Re: Eunan O'kane + Mark Ellis

Yes, but when the hurt is raw you need to post quick. I was watching Jeff Stelling and noted Eunan scoring in the 84th minute, and then, blow me down, within a minute there was Mark Ellis popping one in again timed at 84. It just stings a bit to know that our Summer spinal surgery is the reason for ...

Re: Torquay in the Prem - Dream or Disaster?

Some good responses. I too side with the reverse snobbery idea that premiership fans are to be pitied, as they are being taken for mugs, and fleeced by corporate greed. I much prefer being taken for a mug by local businessmen and being relieved of more modest amounts. Little do they realise that I k...

Re: Back and ready to moan

It is hard to recover from spinal surgery.

Rehabilitation is a long and hard road. Just ask Sophie Webster.

We are on that road....

So what is this lack of goals then?

I see that Ellis, Tomlin, Mohamed and Akinfatone all hit the net last night. Always grates a bit that...

Just seen the lowlights on TFLS.

Surely the problem is that we were wearing the wrong coloured socks..?

Re: Is Ling the real thing ???

In answer to the OP question -Yes. If the team has no back bone then it is because ¾ of it was removed during the Summer as the squad underwent spinal surgery to bring in funds. Whether Lingy had any choice in the matter is open to speculation. Rome wasn’t built in a day. We are re-building and o...

Re: Spinal Surgery

That would probably be counter-productive. It is a shame that good offers came in for too many of our key players. But we are a selling club, and that is exactly what we did.

Spinal Surgery

When you rip ¾ of the spine out of a team (Bobby, Ellis, Eunan) it will inevitably take some time to recover. If they had sold Rene it would have been a complete spine removal. I reckon it is a minor miracle that we are doing so well with such a weakened backbone. I say that not having seen a singl...
