Torquay fans fantasy football

The code to join the league is: 440642-112050 ALSO. I've spotted that the team from The Plymouth Herald and West...

Highway to Hele Fanzine
Seriously recommend it to anyone.
I may be biased but I think £1.50 is an absolute steal for the amount of work Bobby and others put in to it. Genuinely funny and interesting content, as well as informative.

Mid table indifference will do for me. Cox is being hamstrung by the budget and I don't think you can win the league with players on £300 p/w or whatever they're on.
Stay solid, be tough to beat, win against the part-timers. That'll do me.

Bowman going out on loan
It would be a crying shame to let Bowman go.
I think he's the first striker we've had since Tim Sills who looks genuinely capable of scoring 20 goals in a season. (I know Howe had a season of scoring but he never seemed as permanently threatening as Sills or Bowman)

Here's the who's who of the trialists. http://www.westernmorningnews.co.uk/Torquay-United-s-trialists/story-26862097-detail/story.html Click on it if only to see Geohaghon's amazing long throw! Rory Delap eat your heart out! Also, Gulliball, I don't think it was Ben Hutchinson playing as apparently ...

Stu James appears to have done some digging on SOME of the trialists. Hopefully some of them sign on the dotted line by the sounds of it!

Trainng ground share with Plymouth argyle
Would be a good, progressive move by the new board, IMO.
It's this kind of outside-the-box thinking that will be needed to dig our club out from the ditch it finds itself in.
Hope it comes off and we don't get short-changed by Argyle in the deal.

Ashley Yeoman
The thing with Yeoman is that he has been good enough to earn deals from Buckle, Ling, Knill and Hargreaves but not quite good enough to figure heavily in any of their plans.
There must be a bit of a player in there with so many managers keeping him on the books?
(Playing devils advocate)

Has been offered a pre-season trial by the looks of it...
Wonder if he'll play any pre-season friendlies?

Currently signed-on strikers are: Bowman, Marsh. Is that it?
