Re: Our own Anthem
Not sure if it would work during the game but read the second half of my post and click on the last youtube link. That you could sing along too before the game and its short and sweet.

Re: Our own Anthem
I always like to hear Robert miles children before the game. Always thought that was our adopted anthem. Great little song for the build up to a game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QEPrDBMqJ0 Avicii's "you make me" makes me think of Torquay, just listen to the start of the song... I hear...

Re: Richard Hancox
He was married to Batesons daughter and most people thought, me included he was not that good a footballer. He then got jobs such as stadium manager, yes stadium manager and we were not convinced he was the right person for the job, if we actually needed a stadium manager at all. Now you say that I...

Richard Hancox
Feel free to remove this if this shouldn't belong on the main board. I've just been looking at youtube and it looks like he(I presume it is Richard Hancox) has uploaded a few videos, from when he was at Torquay. Heres his channel http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAoOptzbch0qapLluRpMKg just thought a...

Re: Torquay in the Prem - Dream or Disaster?
For me its more the Premier league as a whole that I dislike and not really the players. I agree that PL players are paid well over the top and that money put into grass roots football would do wonders but to tarnish all of the players the same would be wrong. I think there are a fare few that do a ...

Re: Torquay vs Exeter- December 22nd
Oh right thats good! Good luck to them. But still, I think the more 'casual' fan should also get involved by yellow pages cuttings, balloons etc. To the "casual" fan I would say bring what ever yellow pages, balloons etc you can and make as much noise as possible!! :scarf: Maybe be should...

Re: Torquay vs Exeter- December 22nd
I personally can't wait for this fixture. It's looking like Exeter will just about sell all their allocation so they should make a good noise from the away end. Hopefully the pop side will swell a bit for this game aswell. Anyone with any ideas for enhancing the atmosphere, i.e balloons, yellow pag...

I was just about to suggest that! Some great clips from their video, just to remind everyone.happytorq wrote:They should use the first 45 seconds of "The Bay" by Metronomy, as in intro.
Torquay never looked so good.

Fair play, probably better than doing it off football manager etc. He doesnt look to bad but we will have to see how he fits in.

Re: Odhiambo On trial!
Not the most amazing scoring record but seemed to be used on either wing for Inverness. Some things that do strike me is that he's got good acceleration although I don't think his top speed will be a huge amount faster than anyone with decent pace and he seems to have a very good first touch with d...

Re: Ready for criticism
I disagree with the criticism of English football as a whole. Sure, the atmosphere at Plainmoor isn't always amazing but if you look elsewhere in England then I think we put the other European supporters to shame. For example, I was watching some terrible Spainish team play Barcelona in La Liga the...

To be fair lads he has got a point. I'm all for going off topic at times but some of the stuff on threads these days is a bit ott and should probably be not on the main board.yellowsmiffy wrote:Maybe lay off the numerous threads a bit... this forum is annoying enough these days.
