I don't know who the f**k you are, but welcome to earth. other clubs managed the same "impossible" thing in two days..... Were other clubs signing managers that were already under contract though? Or like Coxy, free agents? Were Bath happy to let him go straight away or did they insist on...

Re: Craig Stanley

Totaly diss-agree with you there Fletch,Sammy macc let him go out on loan because he did not want to keep Stanners, who as we know was out of contract in the summer, when he came to Torquay Stanley was not to know Sammy macc was going to part company with Morecambe,so he came to us with a view to ear...

Unless someone was twisting his arm to sign for Brizzle (his agent perhaps?), there is nothing to say he couldnt have waited to see who our new manager was.
You are, of course, assuming we didnt make a preliminary offer of a contract as we did with Bevs?

Re: Craig Stanley

Yes good point ,Yellow, however there is a difference here,Stanley was out of contract came to us with a view to singing on,and its clear that if Buckle had stayed Stanley would have signed for us,and what a signing that would have been. Not exactly forever, Stanley was under contract to Morecambe. ...

Re: Date of New Manager Appointment

does anyone think it possible, that the board didn't expect us to get into the play offs, let alone the final, and as a result, this shunted their decisions by a couple of weeks. maybe they'd planned to put PB on gardening leave after the rovrum match, he then joins rovers on 1st june (or whatever)...

He was already interviewed last year when they tried to sign him, only to be rebuffed by his club at the time.

Pretty decent ones actually. Fergie played for Rangers and Dunfermline (when they were one of the top Scottish sides), Greenwood played in the Chelsea side that won the league back in the fifties. Better examples would have been, Arrigo Sacchi, who never played pro football and went on to create ar...

Re: Will Crawley be the most hated team?

didn't like their attitude at all when they came to Plainmoor, wasn't very impressive at all, if they had won fair and square I would have probably been happy for them, but they weren't! You cant really blame them for Zebs having a rush of blood to give away the penalty :-| We were always going to ...

Whilst Robbo and Ellis will need time to form a partnership, and we can expect some errors, surely they are the promising future of our central defence? Apart from the fact that both of them are predominantly right sided CBs. Neither seem overly happy at playing as left CB and neither look comforta...
