Management options

Many managers have been successful at one club and never been able to replicate it elsewhere. Maybe due to being in the right place at the right time, inheriting or stumbling across a good group of players, or just finding the perfect tactical formula for a specific team and situation. I would like ...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

Well at least one person has a winning mentality at Plainmoor - Chris Ralph wins FA National League Groundsman of the Year Award. On a non-existent budget that takes some doing - fair play to the man - great achievement. Do you think he knows anything about managing a team ? Hang on a minute...he h...

Congratulations Chris Ralph

Especially impressive as Aldershot and Boreham Wood have the help of Chelsea and Arsenal respectively with their pitches.

Well done Chris :-D

Another Shambles

The club we all know and love is finished, has been for some years and even National South would be a bridge too far.I am all for a new start at a place where we can compete and afford the position we find ourselves.Prossional football in South Devon has gone,no vast support,no one willing to put in...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

As I've said elsewhere and many times, brand new teams every season with the same budget will never improve the position that the club is in. We have to get used to this; we are a bottom half Conference side that will struggle and a good season is not fighting for relegation. Jesus wept! A good sea...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

A phoenix club only makes sense if the original club no longer exists.

None of the clubs you listed would have made a fist of it if the supporter base was split between the original and new clubs.

SACK NICHOLSON!!

I now move on to Harrop and the recruitment director, i mean what the f*ck do these people do at the club, the recruitment guy is as much use as a chocolate tea pot and as for Harrop anyone know his role? its a wasted wage which could be spent on a forward who can actually score goals. There was a ...

I have to say that I didn't see that coming tonight.
Seriously?

What have you been watching for the last 2 years?

That's exactly the sort of gutless, inept, pedestrian performance that is the trademark of the Nicholson era.

SACK NICHOLSON!!

Those saying we are only 3 games into the new season, do need to consider that it might only be 3 games but it follows two years of the same sort of results. All the first three games have shown us, is that nothing really is likely to change, therefore if Nicholson wasn't sacked in the past, then i...

2-1 Ronan and Rory with the goals for the good guys ;)
Ronan?

If Ruari gets his uncle to play it should add a few to the attendance but I think he's even older than Fallon ;-)

I can only remember two other occasions when a new arrival at the club has been met with such unanimous disapproval on here.

Guy Branston and Martin Ling. ;-)

i read the article on everton moving.
