'You' don't even know who the Head Coach is do you!
He didn't seem to know who the media guy was on the first thread, mind you, nor do I. :)

The Gaffer

The 8 players in yesterdays 16 man squad, brought to the club by Nicholson maybe ? Of the 5 players selected for MOTM, 3 were at the Club last season so maybe not. Clutching at straws there Jack. There were only 6 replies, Reid got 3 votes, and Mcginty 1, these are the only Nicho signings metioned.

The Gaffer

Think it's to simplistic to compare Knill/Hargreaves/Nicholson/Ower's different managers arriving at different times, under different circumstances, there's not point trying to compare how the team finished last season under Nicho, to how the team has started this either, by and large a different sq...

Torquay United v Maidstone United 11/11/17

Don't think it's about happy clappers accepting another defeat. Today we've lost another game, we've lost a game the team needed to win and should have won, trust me I would love to have come on forum today and launched a tirade of criticism, but it's about being honest with what I've/we've seen, to...

Phoenix club lads. It's the only way to ensure football in Torquay. :-D Maybe after next weeks defeat it will become clearer. :scarf: Problem is Andy, and I've posted it few times, and this is the one time I can actually say, I'm 100 % right. A phoenix club will NOT work with out the retention of P...

Football is about scoring goals. We don't have the personnel to do that. I agree with you. But decent strikers cost £1000-1500 a week in wages, even at our level, the club currents owners are not going fund that, yes the club could take a punt on a lad from two leagues below, but it would be a punt...

Yes, hard to be critical after that performance. If I was going to pass any criticism, it would first half lacked a little passion and desire, some individual poor decision making also through out the game, at times static off the ball. Defence solid through out, think they only really conceded one ...

Problem is here, we're looking for the 'Kiefer Moore' type striker, and that's one thing Harrop is right, especially at our level, they don't grow on tree's. You have find at this stage of the season who's available, willing to sign, and with in your budget. You can't just loan one in either, both t...

We have to remember that the anniversary is used to remember all the people who have died in wars - not just World War One/Two but also the Falklands War, the Gulf War, and conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq . Yep, very well aware of that, also the millions of civilians killed and injured in wars an...

Agree with much of what's said in the above post. Not relevant to TUFC I know, but a classic example in my opinion of a player who led the line with out being the primary goalscorer was Brian Deane, a premier league player for those who don't know through out the 1990's with Sheffield and Leeds Unit...

Yep, your right, with the children of WW2 now in their 80's, we're not far away from having no one alive from either world war, it's vital we keep the memory (if that's the right word) going for all those who died or suffered horrific injuries, so we could have the freedoms we do today, it will be w...

Yes WIlliams could score. Could he lead the line? - no nowhere near it. Just a minute ago your compliant was, the club doesn't have a goalscorer, when it's pointed out to you we had one last season, now well he couldn't lead the line. We've haven't had such a player at the since Rene Howe. Do us a ...
