Torquay v Gateshead

Jerry, if that was the situation then common sense should have dictated that someone had a word with a Policeman and had him arrested for contravening his banning order. Going after him in the crowd when the game is all but over is just asking for confrontation something their physical intervention ...

Torquay v Gateshead

Disappointing tonight, having seen recent home performances, not at the races, bad error at the back 1 down, and confidence and self belief disappeared from the team quickly, not 2 points dropped, not a 1 point gained, 1 point stolen, nearly all 3 at the death as shot anywhere but straight at the G...

.............. but we were so much fitter than teams we played against at our level and it led to a number of successful years. it was then I realised how fit pros are or should be.
I was that keen I used to go running with some of the first team players.....

FA Trophy First Round

The last Trophy run to the final reputedly cost the club about Β£50k. Which is where Merse's attempts to further insult our previous manager falls flat on its face. He has no idea what the cost to the club would have been to get to the final of this tinpot competition and instead of harping on about...

FA Trophy First Round

Hardly their fault though was it? Surviving that period was a job well done with the off field limitations.

Mark Ellis

He was always erratic at best. Plenty of potential but for me he didn't fully realise it.

FA Trophy First Round

No argument on that but behind closed doors friendlies arranged at our convenience is a much more preferable method in my book.

FA Trophy First Round

Of course it isn't.

Concentrating on the league means resting fatigued players or those carrying injuries rather than pushing them to play in a competition that has nothing but tinpot written all over it.

Torquay United v Leyton Orient thread

Be a really nice touch for the yellow army to sing some Martin Ling songs today as no doubt he'll be in the ground as part of the backroom staff. Be a bit classy that, unlike the morons that sacked him in such unceremonious circumstances whilst he was Torquay boss. Regarding the game. Torquay are i...

Both Owers and Kuhl deserve this win and so do the players.
The fans deserve it more.
