Club Statement

Annoying bunch aren't we?

All the huff and puff from Osborne is so predictable.

So he's happy with Harrop spunking his money away and going backwards? All part of the 5 year plan obviously!!

Jim Parker Herald Express

The kind of people they were looking at originally have turned them down for that very reason.

There won't be that many prepared to work under Harrop, let alone for Osborne.

If they get in the player they're trying to he would be the ideal foil to help him get in the right positions to take advantage of his skillset. That's why I'm preferring to look at the potential rather than the negatives of like you say, pinning all our hopes on him alone.

Dorel signs

Another positive move in my book. Are they listening?

I'd say there isn't much between them but Clarke in the run-in for me based on his experience. Happy either way though really.

Was the keeper you were looking over exceptionally tall or are you a very short arse🤓🤓🤓🤓
Welcome back, Terry. I was wondering where you'd got to. Have you joined TUST yet? I'd urge you to do so if you haven't yet ;)

I actually see potential in this signing. Sure we all hoped for someone a little more experienced and higher profile but this could be a good step if he has the right partner. Agreed, I mean Dagenham only tried him for 20 games and his return of 1 goal is exceptional...    ...

I did say with the "right partner". I've seen him play a few times when he was at Eastbourne when I was looking over a keeper and as Merse alludes to he plays well off a target man. If, and it's a big IF we get the right player alongside him he could score a few. So, as I said, I can see the potenti...

Perhaps now we can all put to bed any arguments over me stating that Norman Smurthwaite was a genuinely interested party but who can blame him for not wanting to become a GI bedfellow.

Steve Breed Question & Answer Thread

I'm glad expectations were realistic and given the circumstances I think this above all others is the salient point. While you were CEO you had different issues thrown at you but the club was always the main concern for you. It's a shame others before and since didn't feel the same.

Steve Breed Question & Answer Thread

Amen.

Steve, can you confirm what his remit was?

Was he tasked with keeping the club in the National League or was he given a budget and expected to get us promoted?

Transfer Rumours 17/18

I didn't say he was. I said Owers wasn't as good at recognising talent as Nicholson.
