Should all contracted players terminate their contracts in order to save our club

Given that the average gate does not exceed 1,000 for any National League South club and goes down to as little as 230 for some clubs, I expect there will be more Gull supporters than home supporters in some away games. I expect you are right, at least at the start of the season. But wait to see wh...

I said to my Dad on Saturday when we went 0-2 down that maybe they had got complacent.
Pure comedy gold there Chunky! The team well adrift at the bottom of the league has got complacent! ;-)

FA Cup Qualifying - Fourth Round Draw

I'd relish a tie at plainmoor v truro, would draw a crowd for sure Not only Truro, Bath (Owers former club) are through A N D Bognor Regis !!!! Plus many other banana skins ....... I don't think there is a team that has got through the 3rd qualifying round that I would be confident of beating. They...

Highest and lowest TUFC away support.

I believe the lowest is one. Romford Kev, away at Carlisle in the days of McFarland/Saunders/around that time, I think. A Tuesday evening in a freezing cold month, so probably a January or February. I believe he drove there and back the same day/night from ... go on, take a guess. What a hero. Lege...

Highest and lowest TUFC away support.

Made it to Braintree away last season in the FA Trophy. Me and a friend stood behind the goal (no cover) and there were only 4 of us! It was unsegregated and raining however, so I'm sure there must've been more fans somewhere. That's an important point. Two games have been mentioned on this thread,...

Highest and lowest TUFC away support.

There were 1000 + Torquay supporters in a crowd of over 16,000 at Feethams for a 0-0 draw with Darlingtom for the final game of the season in May 1966. This game saw both teams promoted to Division 3 (now League 1). Twelve months later again over a 1000 Torquay fans travelled to Middlesbrough. A win...

Woking v Torquay match thread Monday 28/8/17 3pm

From memory (no doubt someone can check it out) it would appear that we are matching York's record last season. I just hope that I'm wrong. Won't make a jot of difference if you are wrong....still bottom of the table with 1 point (against 9 men) out of possible 21! Relegated by Christmas..... I agr...

Management options

Paul Cox has resigned as manager of Barrow. What a bloody disgrace. Ray dry your eyes cock. nailed on to return here - even if he does live in Nottingham. :) Nobody could blame Mr Cox if he has chosen to ditch tin-pot Barrow for the chance to manage a club with a decent ground and potential....

Guiseley v Torquay United

You have to be clinically insane to be a Barrow fan on a TUFC forum... Don't know about clinically. Just a wind up merchant really. All this banging on about blogs and e-mails when he knows the correct terms is a wind up, as is starting a match prediction thread for games when he knows we don't do ...
