Brucie V Dave - This time its personal!! ;)

Lucy, the change of title of this thread was suggested - by me - as the "Exeter Play-Off" title was both irritating and irrelevant to where the topic headed. At the moment of the suggestion Dave and Brucie were in the midst of an "Alas Smith and Jones" debate so it seemed more relevant than "Exeter...

F A Trophy

Not sure I said anywhere in my post that I think TUFC should focus on the trophy at the expense of National league survival? I know the season has finished now but I think you need to calm down a little :) you said it was a smashing advert....that's as maybe, but as a squad we have to prioritise th...

Expectations for next season

I'm not too sure of my expectations for next season, but have a hunch that Ruairi Keating will get player of the season, Ruairi Keating will be young player of the season, Ruairi Keating will be top goalscorer, Ruairi Keating will get the most assists, and that he'll do all this without much suppor...

F A Trophy

Agreed, totally enjoyable and a smashing advert for non-league football. it maybe a "smashing advert" but the facts are - as far as TUFC are concerned, we have a thin squad and the emphasis has to be national league status, whether we just about survive as we have done, or finish higher up the table...

Exeter playoff

.....offers of free tickets to matchdays and as mentioned previously and more importantly, there's a voucher for children accompanied by adults to a meal of burger & chips in the clubhouse where the adults will most likely buy a drink and something to eat too. It's not rocket science The thing that...

F A Trophy

More a feeling of get knocked out of this tournament ASAP. The last 2 winners have been relegated That's a pathetic comment. The whole point about sport is to compete. When teams deliberately field weakened sides in cup competitions they are both disrespecting the game and the supporters who pay to...

Andy Candy - Compliance Manager

My priority has always been to try and help the Club. I started as a volunteer decades ago and was fortunate to enjoy the privilege of different senior roles. It became evident to me recently that with the loss of certain paid staff the Club might benefit from my knowledge and experience. Complianc...

If GI fail getting the freehold...

If GI do fail in getting the freehold would they want a fast exit from TUFC? We know there are not the buyers if anything is to be taken from the most rescent sale attempt. If as I believe GI have already had to invest to keep the club going, in addition the original loan, would they in effect allo...

The Play Offs

I'd like to see the playoff system whereby, if you finish "bottom" of the playoff positions, you play the team above you. Whichever team wins that game plays the team above, and finally you have the final against the team that finished top of the playoffs positions. Seems the fairest way - that way...

The Play Offs

I've always enjoyed my visits to Forest Green but have found that their fans make so little noise I thought they were dead. Who would have thought that during the Buckle days it would be Forest Green who would bypass us. As for playing an unknown brand of football - well its hardly worked all seaso...
