Management options

Personally I think Marcus Bignot would be a great appointment. Look at the work he done at Solihull Moors, he was used to working with lower budgets in the NL and has a track record of developing infrastructures within a football club to make them sustainable operations. Granted it might not of wor...

I think the prospect of any manager currentlynin employment deserting their post to join us is fanciful in the extreme. The notion that the manager of Dover - 3rd in the league and off the back of 2 playoff challenging seasons - would up sticks to move to Torquay is just incredible. The odds will b...

Former Tranmere Rovers boss Gary Brabin is also currently out of work, Nicky. Other jobless managers with Conference experience include John Beck, Dino Maamria and Sammy McIlroy. Ray are you just plucking names out of the air? beck and mcilroy haven't managed for at least 5yrs, brabin is a proven b...

Gary Hill, Kevin Hill. Rchard Hill, Fanny Hill - you can tell the forums gone mad lets just get someone in called Hill :O :O :O :O :O :O People calling for the likes of Joyce are just plain mad. Bideford are a park side. Managing them for 100 years has no resemblance to managing us. We might be sma...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

Very dissappointed in the Clubs behaviour on this one. If Nico was sailing that close to the wind then this should have been sorted in the close season and not FOUR GAMES IN! Allowing him to assemble a squad and then giving it four games to gell is beyond belief, especially as key members are injur...

Martyn Rodgers and Sean Joyce have done the same at Tiverton and Bideford. It's down to the amount of funds left in the budget the directors and Chairman are in the driving seat. We will never know what's in it. Why is these two get wheeled out every time we have a vacancy? Can people not see outsi...

Our most successful manager ever - Frank O'Farrell - came to us from Weymouth Town who I believe were in the old Southern League at the time. Certainly Chippenham and Poole have been successful sides in recent seasons. Mark Yates would be a strong contender as Zippy has posted. But ..... the millio...
