GI put the club 'on the market'

The report covers the period leading up to year end 2016, however the actual report is not put together until months after, primarily because it takes time and all the information needs to be collated. PLCs are meant to submit reports 6 months after their reporting year, private companies 9 months....

GI put the club 'on the market'

Thank you merse , amazing the information you unearth for us. Question this is year end for 2016. I know it's for Riviera Ltd but it's not referring to the previous regime as timeline is around then they were in charge. Why also the interview with Clark back in around march with no mention of this ...

Are GI selling the club

The question is, though: who would buy it? Well nobody really. Nobody could be found for love nor money until GI stepped in last time . Ideal scenario is that the club find a buyer that is genuinely interested in the club and it's fans, tells it how it is and sorts the mess out once and for all but...

Would you feel that a minutes' applause would be appropriate to remember Bill?
If so, in which minute of the match?

Thanks but no. Keep watching the game. Hopefully a win. May be there myself!
no worries.

Loyal Fan RIP. Bill.

Last journey from Teignmouth to Torquay yesterday, for my Dad, William (Bill) Rowe, (no relation to directors) of Teignmouth/Shaldon, as relations accompanied him to the crem, and reminisced about all those journeys over many years by motorbike and car to Plainmoor. He passed away one day short of ...

Jamie Reid (again, probably)

In general i just don't get lower league footballers anyway. If i was a young lad and able to earn over £300 a week playing football then i'd be coming off that pitch every game barely able to move. I would hope that with a little extra focus on my ability and improving it then i would be able to g...

FC Halifax Town v Torquay United, Match Day Thread, 21st October 2017

Shaw Lane are hated in the Northern Premier League. Like many teams suddenly experiencing an enormous boost in finance, success has gone to their heads. At The Turnbull Ground a few weeks ago they cynically 'arranged' for one of our midfielders to be sent off (in the second minute!) and then spent t...

Red card for Barrow now too! Remarkable achievement if Shaw Lane get into the 1st round of the FA Cup. They have! Won 2-1. Shit players CAN achieve things if they put their minds to it see. b*llocks andy I forgot they were playing. :@ there actually not that sh1t... got some ex-pros in the te...

FC Halifax Town v Torquay United, Match Day Thread, 21st October 2017

Well after defeat in the FA Cup (again) its that time again to concentrate on the league - and we sure need to do that. A welcome return visit to Halifax, one of my favourite away days. I will of course be joined by the Yorkshire Gulls from all over gods county and of course a "warm" welcome to the ...

Off topic: I still chuckle when I remember nicho saying new manager will think he has won the lottery with this squad.
I think the word lottery sums up the assembly of the squad very well.
more like winning the lottery but misplacing the winning ticket......... :-/

I totally agree. It's been needed since Blissett left and before him after Bowman left. It's amazing we just keeping hoofing the ball forward game after game as if we had a player who any chance of retaining it . You can practically trace our results by the omission. the irony is that Bowman nearly...
