Okay - maybe fair comment, Scott. But in the same vein, why not suggest to the Font of All Knowledge that he ceases his, frankly boring, constant 'digs' at Kevin Nicholson, and some of the current squad, and just move on? How can you 'move on' when the club is committed to so much financial damage ...

Love it when you lot fall out, make up, fall out, especially when I'm a bystander and not involved, just reading it :-)

It is becoming like a Skakespearean tragedy on here. Merse being cast as the villain.
Quite entertaining all this though :-)

tufc in crisis

God help us, are we seriously discussing this again. CO is in it for the money, get it, the money!! A nice purpose built stadium, with a bloody BIG rent, jeez do some of you think it's gonna be a nice low rent so we can have a nice playing budget. Why the f@ck would a business man who doesn't even l...

Are these latest signings the last roll of the dice for TUFC

I very rarely agree with Merse but on this point he is absolutely right. If GI owned the freehold, do you seriously think a covenant would stop him. No chance. He would take it through the courts, give alternatives like a new stadium etc, we are lucky the ground is owned by the council, long may it ...

Great appointment.

Well I was willing to give the guy a chance, and to be honest I think the team HAS looked better, BUT we are bottom, and that's all that counts. What I cannot stand is, if we do get relegated this is what we will hear from the club. "The fans need to stick by us" "We are going to give it a real go t...

GI bring the scaffolding in

Apologies for being pedantic but couldn't help myself :-) when we have a large crowd? mmmmmmmm A bar for the away fans - mmmmmmmm don't know what the average of wawy fans is but lets say 50, half of which wont probably drink. Some will have half pints or coke, don't think there is allot of profit th...

The loanees

On a general note, and this is intended to start a discussion. What would happen if Loanees were not allowed. It would make clubs like us increase our squads, probably with local players on next to nothing, which might level out things and improve the chances for local players. Personally I find it ...

Just watched Owers post match interview. He looks like one VERY pissed off manager.

Look I don't know if he is good enough for the job or not. But results in the league at least have improved a bit. Is that enough, well we will know in May, that's football folks.

I so nearly went. At about 2pm I was undecided. Some friends popped round out of the blue and saved me, so I didn't go PHEW!

I wonder if there are any studies on contributors to forums, I guess there has been. The first question is: why bother at all? what is the motive for posting? I aint got a clue why I do Are contributors to forums like this one a bit odd or normal. Mmmmmm ;-) Well my observations are these: Some peop...

THE REAL GREAT ESCAPE, BRYN THE POLICE DOG ETC, 30 YEARS ON. (Has much really changed.)

Yes Mark Loram was class and I didn't know him so only what I heard, and that could of course have been wrong, struggled a bit off the pitch. I was on the poipside right near where the trouble was, and to be honest a little involved with it. My wife saw me on the TV the next day when the commentator...

Oh dear that's terrible news.

Remember him, a very loyal and dependable servant to the club.

Thanks Ian for the service to the club. Fond memories of those days.

RIP and my condolences to his family.
