Anyone fancy standing for our MP as a 'Save TUFC from GI' candidate?

Nobody is suggesting a candidate is fielded in the hope they get elected. That would never happen. The suggestion is simply to field a candidate to draw attention to the club's plight. There is no need for any candidate to speak about Brexit or the NHS because fielding a candidate would simply be a...

Anyone fancy standing for our MP as a 'Save TUFC from GI' candidate?

Well I bet GI are laughing all the way to the bank. We are divided on here, the handfull of posters actually on here cant agree on nearly anything. The proposal that there are more important thingsis ridiculous. Of course there is, but if you take that view then you can say that about anything. I wo...

Anyone fancy standing for our MP as a 'Save TUFC from GI' candidate?

Yes they did but they actually won seats on Greenwich Council. This is not a council election but a General Election Yes, I appreciate the difference but whilst there would be no chance of a victory, for £500 you get the message, 'Save Torquay United from GI' into every household in Torbay plus som...

And I would have gambled early, with the fallback of a pheonix club as long as we could save plainmoor. Its well documented my views on this, but I was shot down by many on here because they couldnt face the prospect of starting again. But there we are.

but you know what also p*sses me off, MANY OF YOU ON HERE! There was a handful of posters and it was just a few who were anti GI right from the start, before they took over, and the crap and excuses that many of you posted during that time. Now, all on board when its probably too bloody late. Hope ...

Guardian Article On Torquay

I think the battle is already swayed in GI's favour and history says they'll get their way so I'm not sure what can be done apart from kicking up enough of a shit storm to pressure people into reconsidering but from what I'm told it's already too late. I don't know for sure but this is most likely ...

I think you can add the economics of local people to the list why the club might not be at the forefront of everyones daily thoughts.

Well I ve had my disagreements with Merse on here, and to be honest havnt liked many of his posts for different reasons. But well done for getting the situation of TUFC into the national media, that is no mean feat. Its odd, because I read the response and other than the tone thought it was good. UN...

TUFC TV - CLARKE OSBORNE

Just seen a report on BBC breakfast about Brightons current success. Guy said that Brighton fans have suffered so much over the last 30 years. Try being a TUFC fan mate, my god!

Questions to Geoff Harrop (Video)

The problem I have is that I understand that at some point down the pyramid you would have to go part time if crowds plummeted. I actually don't have a problem with that. BUT again, not with this lot in charge because I don't trust them. If TUST owned the club and said look, we as fans now own it. S...
