Wrexham v Torquay 25.3.17

Listened to some of it, I think we did ok given the circumstances.

And wouldn't be just great to avoid relegation just to p$ss off our owners if nothing else :-)

Let's Save Our Club!

you obviously know about minimum pitch requirements, more than I do, but I find your postings quite negative. No one said it would be easy, and you might be right, impossible, BUT at this point IF we have no club, what do you advise, just give up. I personally think the journey would be exciting. Th...

Let's Save Our Club!

Just thought. If the council decide to sell the freehold. They surely cannot just sell it to GI. It would have to go out to tender? We should be prepared for that.

Let's Save Our Club!

Some democracy that. Never understood the argument for Mayors, other than London which seems to have some validity. When I sent emails to councilors right at the start of this, the response wasn't great but some do care, I think Im right in saying that they were mainly the Liberal Dems group and wer...

GI the Death of TUFC as we know it

Some of us opened them ages ago and tried to warn others but were scorned for it. There were plenty on here asking us to give them a chance? Absolutely!! And they know who they are! The only option in my opinion is to boycott NOW. Quick death rather than a slow one for me! Might open the eyes of so...

Let's Save Our Club!

A protest will at least give the fans a chance to vent their frustration. Who knows if ity would work, IF and its big IF it did get media coverage it may open the eyes of some councilors, and that would be the main aim. The best outcome is to get rid of GI and Harrop and keep this club at Plainmoor....

GI the Death of TUFC as we know it

No plainmoor no club for me. It's moving out of your council house with a secure tenancy and renting a house from a tight fisted landlord who only cares about the rent and doesn't give a fck if your shower does not work or there is damp in your bedroom I will never spend a penny at plainmoor while ...

GI the Death of TUFC as we know it

I have no issue with those last 2 statements actually. But we are where we are. Never liked that statement but it suits this post. I wont support the current owners, so from my view a Pheonix club is best, maybe not for many on here, so be it. It wouldn't be easy I know, but I would support such a c...

GI the Death of TUFC as we know it

The excuses keep coming, wont be the end. Posters on here defending GI because the ownership hadn't been ratified was an early one. Now it seems when they get the freehold. Its not a dig at you by the way torregull. Lets see, then it will be when the planning permission gets passed After that, when ...

Is a new Stadium financially viable?

As I have said on here many times, some don't like what I have said and I get the usual rebukes, but I don't care. The club is basically dead. Dead if what happens follows the above, Dead even if the club actually still exists and in a new stadium because we will be slaves to a rent that will be not...

Torquay v Eastleigh 21.3.17

Well what can you say after that! Same old, same old weaknesses keep coming up time and time again - but nothing ever changes! The same 11 players start week after week , with the same formation and tactics and the same substitutes coming on at the same stage of the game!!! Off the back of a rare a...

It's nor rocket science to realise that this is patently NOT the way to run a football club and that the people doing so in this manner are totally incompetent in presenting a professional and fan-friendly operation as such. The sorry thing is that they might well 'have a plan' but there is no-one ...

FAT Harrop Threats

Must be a sensitive chap. Gee the stick some people get in football, and they just ignore it. Don't get involved in football if you cant take some stick. Lets face it if you take the stick / banter / opinions / passion out of football may as well pack up! Even posting on forums, if you cant take som...
