Current Form in the National League.

"If Clarke Osborne comes to the conclusion that he is throwing his good money after bad; then for sure he will cease funding the football club just as Sage have at Hartlepool and Meadow Partners have at Dulwich Hamlet. When property speculators/developers realise they will not get what they want the...

Maidenhead v Torquayunited 10/2/18

Now I am getting a bit fed up with you going on about the previous manager. Get over it Merse for f***s sake Were you there? The differing management style was all important yesterday...... United were physically and mentally better conditioned than they ever used to be under Nicholson and Simon Da...

The squad as it stands.....

Had to laugh at some of the posts on this thread. So we don't know if the manager has a contract or not, same for the assistant.

AND if you go by the last couple of posts we don't even know what the squad is.

You just cant make that up can you :-)

Concert Venue Yes!! It would beat seeing T'Pau, The Stranglers, Genesis and Meatloaf at Torbay Leisure Centre. I'm sure that was the root cause of my tinnitus!!!

We could get a retractable pitch and share it with Torbay Trojans too.
You missed iron maiden who also played there :-)

Torquay United Association Football Club - Sole Director Clarke Osborne

A few drainage problems at Swindon are nothing compared to the toxic waste problems he'll encounter at Nightingale Park(give him some great excuses though) You can just imagine cant you. 1) Council decide Plainmoor freehold can be sold 2) Its put to tender with a proviso that another home must be f...

GET Gary Owers, Martin Khul & Geoff Harrop OUT NOW

Couple of points about the replies to my post. First is, I think it's a bit rude to infer that the current people running TUST are not good people. Secondly I have been a member of TUST for quite a while, not right from the begining but from about the point GI were on the horizon. Thirdly I do reali...

GET Gary Owers, Martin Khul & Geoff Harrop OUT NOW

Well I'm all for boycott and have NOT been persuaded against it. The club is dying in its current state, many of you have stated that, of course you might not mean it. The money that CO is putting in is (and I don't know that its a fact) most probably a loan as has been alluded too in earlier posts....

I'm in agreement with the sentiment now that these two are drawing a wage and have no idea how to manage a so called professional football club. But CO doesn't care what league we are in, that is obvious, good at the very occasional PR message to try and keep most fans on side, but let's face it, th...

Okay - maybe fair comment, Scott. But in the same vein, why not suggest to the Font of All Knowledge that he ceases his, frankly boring, constant 'digs' at Kevin Nicholson, and some of the current squad, and just move on? How can you 'move on' when the club is committed to so much financial damage ...

It is becoming like a Skakespearean tragedy on here. Merse being cast as the villain.

tufc in crisis

God help us, are we seriously discussing this again. CO is in it for the money, get it, the money!! A nice purpose built stadium, with a bloody BIG rent, jeez do some of you think it's gonna be a nice low rent so we can have a nice playing budget. Why the f@ck would a business man who doesn't even l...

Are these latest signings the last roll of the dice for TUFC

I very rarely agree with Merse but on this point he is absolutely right. If GI owned the freehold, do you seriously think a covenant would stop him. No chance. He would take it through the courts, give alternatives like a new stadium etc, we are lucky the ground is owned by the council, long may it ...
