National League table after tonight's games

The whole debate about Nicho is a waste of time anyway. IF and I don't know if this is true Nicho IS on a 3 year contract he aint going anywhere, even if were relegated. GI don't care what league we are in, THEY publicly stated this, so they aint gonna pay up a contract, why would they.

National League table after tonight's games

How long has Torquay been at the end of the M5 couple of years maybe, come on lame excuse. There are many factors why we are where we are.

National League table after tonight's games

Yes he did ~ at the cost of accepting loans from GI that have ended up in what? Something a lot of people are unsure and unhappy about; yes he kept us in the National League and yes that was an achievement borne of a terrible start under him and a seriously underfunded budget and only then being gi...

National League table after tonight's games

If we are in the bottom 4 after the next 5 games Nicho should go. Doesn't mean a new manager would save us but might just might give us some hope. But he wont be sacked because GI don't care what league we are in unlike the fans. Wont want to spend money paying him up, less profit for them and less ...

It's not the 'judgement of the management'. Jamie Reid plays because he's what we can afford. Full stop. There are managers with smaller budgets in this league than Kevin Nicholson; managers who are achieving more.....the managers of five of the immediate six above Torquay United for a start ~ and ...

I am thinking that next season could be our last as we are in GI hands and they are not interested in the club. The council need to support the club by perhaps giving part of the land to the club so we have a stake in Plainmoor, all that money that the lady spent could have bought the ground. :good...

Torquay v Macclesfield, National League, Sat. 11 Feb. 2017, 3:00 pm

I was down in Torquay on business, had a couple of meetings Saturday morning, had lunch in town and had a choice, goto the match or drive home, I drove home and Im a season ticket holder and supporter of 35 years plus through thick and thin. Got no enthusiasm now owned by GI. So not surprised others...

They don't need a successful side, as they said, it doesn't matter what league we are in, just a side / club that pays the rent.

Anyway we shall see :-) And I feel confident in returning to this thread in the coming months and reminding you lot what I said!

NOTHING! And wont do anything either. What they will do is make money out of the fans. I cant see where they have made additional funds available. Blisset went for a fee, Gerring has gone out on loan, reserve goalkeeper gone. And we have what 3 new additions. Any money that was put up, and in the fu...

Bromley vs Torquay 04/02/17

Just logged in this morning to find the result, says it all. And I don't think I will be the only one. Cant be interested that much while owned by a get rich quick property developers who have done NOTHING since taking over, AND will do NOTHING, other than seek to make money out of ALL of us! I wont...

Face from the past

Mike Bateson also contributed on here, until he got sick of the slagging off. He got a lot of abuse for a good number of years, no wonder he couldn't wait to get out of it. He said many times football was like no other business in that it just hemorrhaged money with no guarantee of anything.

I don't think any of this matters. if you think that money IF we ever got it would go to strengthen the playing squad your barking mad. I was going to say eat me hat but some famous politician said that and it came home to roost.

Geoff Harrop on his way back?

Sorry, but I really can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading here. Are there really people who are willing to give GI the time of day? A company that has done over virtually every entity it has had dealings with? A company that is clearly only after our ground and is offering token gestures to a...
