Next season.

I would say Brackleys recent record of getting to finals is well earned and I hope they go up. Shows what can be done with crowds of 780 and just how piss poor we have been as a club. My bigger club comment was tongue in cheek. :-D

I also see that Brackley town are finalists again in the northern final. They have punched way above their weight recently. Small ground with crowds averaging 780 this season. Lost in the final last year. Playoffs 2022. Finalist 2021 and FA trophy winners 2018. We could learn something from these te...

Other clubs moving forward with new ideas to increase revenue while at Torquay :-/ Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell em. “We are trying to find those players from parts of the world like Senegal or Canada then potentially send them to England or Ireland if they are good enough.” Trading players is a big part o...

That sounds like Mel and Ian Hayman then. Whether it not or it includes Edwards is anyone guess given the radio silence coming out of Plainmoor. But then again is the source for this rumour accurate? The local press have hardly covered themselves in glory in the past. Exactly. I just about lost pat...

Next season.

I'm reading in the rules that we need to submit a PSB pre season budget by the 14th of June. I really hope all this is being sorted out right now. I really think Osborne has dropped us right in it and given us a near impossible task. :@ I think we may be able to start under a sort of supervision if ...

Isn't there an embargo in operation until we come out of administaration to the satisfaction of the national league?

Neil Warnock still offering his services to the new owners.

"bitcoin club" seems like a hiding to nothing, honestly, because that $4.5m could be worth half that next year (equally, could be twice as much; crypto is a little bit too volatile and opaque for my tastes). Bedford is going to be very well placed to grow as a town in the next 5-10 years,...

Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, have just invested $4.5m (about £3.6m) into Bedford town who intend to become a football league club within 10 years This is just the sort of investment Torquay need . The Bitcoin podcast owner of a non-league football club has said a county town where i...

Regarding the new owners of Torquay United I hope I'm wrong...but I think if they are a complete new team with no previous connections to TUFC, then surely an announcement should be made before tomorrow's game . Looking Ahead No-one at Plainmoor can pretend that 2023/24 has gone how we would have w...

No trip to Taunton next season then. Shame their lack of spending on that pitch cost them their place.

FA Cup replays scrapped from next season

Another lifeline gone for lower league and non league clubs. Didn't Exeter draw away with Man U and earn a reply to save their bacon? Traditionally Cup replays have been seen as a chance for smaller clubs to earn substantial extra revenues. League Two side Newport County, who had a fourth-round repl...
