Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

Lincoln's bench didn't win it for them ours choice of sub for Lathrope lost it for us........ The Imps were tired, ragged and had lost the plot but they are renowned for their ability to overcome deficits at the death and we aided them by putting on a third centre back for a sitting midfielder thus...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

I don't think losing at Lincoln was 'unlucky' it was careless....... Careless in the keeper getting his parry wrong and gifting the ball back to an onrushing forward who was not picked up by defenders and careless for the second goal in allowing Rheid the room on the ball he had been denied by Lath...

The timings do co-incide I reckon so fair play . Is he not also responsible for recruiting? 🤷‍♀️ That's right; and it may be recruiting management too ~ after all this ownership do need professional opinion unlike the last administration who recruited their management in an entirely different manner.

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

By the way, you mention Danny Raachi. Good player and vocal on the field which is what we have lacked, but why hasn't he played all season? Surely he hasn't been injured since September ? I suspect there is some other reason why he hasn't been snapped up by someone. Temperament ? I spent a very bri...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

Running a team at National South or below on a lower budget has to be easier in the South East, where the players can earn double what part time football will pay them from the "day job". At a well run part-time club, the football is the day job and the supplementary work enables players to live be...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

Have to be honest, however 'realistic' it might be, it's a bit distasteful to be assessing the quality of the playing staff (and manager) when they are still in the process of trying to keep the club in the division. Most will know there won't be contracts waiting for them either way, so just for t...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

Who would like as manager? Someone well versed in managing on the budget that will be provided. I did piece on BTPIR this morning outlining how Danny Cowley put in ten years apprenticeship at two little clubs managing like that before getting the Lincoln job. We need a manager in situ because of wh...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

You're living in LaLa Land ~ show his budget to North Ferriby, Guiseley, Solihull, Southport, Woking, Boreham Wood, Maidstone, Bromley........it is what it is and it needs to be managed by someone who can manage on that budget. You won't make thoroughbreds out of these donkeys; they're where they ar...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

What a motivational post going into the north ferriby game. Ok, these guys are not perfect, but please credit them on recent results and performances. It's not meant to be a 'motivational post', it's a realistic appraisal of a poor squad and management who have had to dig themselves out of a hole o...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

A time to say goodbye to the entire squad and management ~ whatever you think of them; they surely won't be engaged for another season of this I absolutely 100% disagree with this. Yes - we know that all of the players' contracts end on the 30th April but I maintain with the addition of two or thre...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

I'm foretelling what will happen; neither promoting the idea or otherwise. The writing's been on the wall for some time now. ALL playing contracts are up immediately after Saturday's game and the players are all off the payroll....although contracted for longer, the management will surely follow at...

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

I guess that the visitors will have to travel on the day of the match? Who would you want to play? I will settle for playing a part time team, with a season goal difference of minus 48 who will most likely have to start their journey down at about 4am in the morning. No way will that be the case ~ ...

Dover Athletic v Torquay United 22/4/17

I'm just about to sort out a train to Dover, not sure how far it is from the ground but hoping to make it tomorrow The nearest railway station is Kearsney which is around a 15 minute walk away from the ground. This station is served by trains from London Victoria and Dover Priory, although not all ...

Herald finally speak Up !!!!!!!

the full time/part time issue isn't the most immediately pressing issue, that is getting GI to come clean with their plans about the freehold. United were employing players working part-time outside football last season and have been for years; take a look at BTPIR tonight for proof. As I said on t...
