Jamie Reid (again, probably)

:'( Oh dear; aother one who thinks footballers have to feel the love every time they step on the pitch. Even if they have been crap they must be lauded and applauded.........oh dear; get real!

Rhys Murphy is a grown man not an under 9 for Christ's sake!

List of Players who were rubbish with us, but have gone on to be good

I'm pretty sure he was on loan at Eastbourne once upon a time, and played an absolute blinder for them one disgraceful midweek night when they tore us apart. Tuesday December 9th, 2008 United lined-up: Bevan, Mansell, Hargreaves, Woods, Nicholson Carlisle, Hodges, Wroe, Stevens Benyon, Sills Subs: ...

Foreign Players

Serious indeed; but Portugal has a much more ambivalent attitude towards EU and non EU employees than this country....Portugal is not lumbered with UKIP style ideology, a death wish like the BREXIT movement and their domestic football is (as you say) full of Africans and South Americans. You can't e...

Mike Fondop - Remember him?

Hmmmmn; if he's scoring twice then it doesn't sound as if he's playing in the same pockets that Lathrope and Evans were detailed to fill yesterday Chas

Should all contracted players terminate their contracts in order to save our club

There are too many loan players now to make managing that squad a practicality. They need to be reduced and players recruited from such as the League of Ireland market where contracts are just ending; although if ~ Rory Keating is anything to go by he's not fit for purpose this season is he! Then th...

Jamie Reid (again, probably)

Billy is banging in the goals now however he was a liability for Torquay. It’s today we need a performances from players in order to stay up, not in years to come. I agree with that; fighting relegation takes a certain type of player playing under a certain type of management and that's why I have ...

Jamie Reid (again, probably)

Unless GI get some real readies out of their back pockets for quality players and replace Owers / Kuhl with a serious managerial name then the club are destined for more of the same because in this league and even below, there are some real progressive clubs to go and play for who can attract playe...

Fa Cup 4th qualifying round Aldershot v Torquay 14/10/17

I don't think the performance was as bad as some are saying and maybe are being guided by the result and being out of the Cup yet again before it has ever got started for us..... That said, it wasn't that good either and the pitch looked a 'bit dead, tufty and long' after another game on it last ni...

Mike Fondop - Remember him?

I was at a game with his former manager the other week who is an acquaintance of mine and my son's former lead coach at Watford Academy.....

Mark Jones, the Oxford City manager doesn't hold him in very high regard and reckons he is out of his league trying at National League level...time will tell.

Gowling hands in transfer request

Give the guy a break, he was not the only one of our better performers to date, who didn't reach their normal standard v Dover, doesn't mean he's not committed, we all have our bad days what ever industry we work in. I'd echo all of that; certainly one of the better payers in a United shirt over th...

Fa Cup 4th qualifying round Aldershot v Torquay 14/10/17

Merse, your own quote contained the use of the phrase "much vaunted" so you kind of opened up the defence of Gowling by desperado therefore you can hardly criticise his response. The rather hysterical and 'flouncy' "Oh Christ, he's having a go at Gowling now, I don't know whether to laugh or cry" i...

Fa Cup 4th qualifying round Aldershot v Torquay 14/10/17

Yes but that wasn't the point of discussion was it; if you can't be analytical because you are swayed by irrelevant issues you fail to see the reasons why week after week the team is losing.

I never said Gowling needed replacing, I pointed out his deficiencies in those two appalling goals last week.

Ryan Clarke spent the afternoon picking the ball out of the net!
He wants to be careful; any more of that and he'll have a bad back! =D
