Club Statement

I agree with Chris wholeheartedly; if we don't help ourselves don't expect people like the Herald Express to help us.

If we don't make a noise don't expect the owner to notice us.

Self help, noise and continuance of it is the key!

A better bet than Blisset somebody said. I sadi that because the player who I am told travelled down to Torquay yesterday was not Romain and has a goals to appearance ratio of 0.65 whilst Blissett's is 0.21 As I've said on another thread I reckon there is another signing in the front two department...

To get the best out of Romain he needs to played off a strong holding ma; so I would anticipate another signing yet to come in. when he was at Eastbourne and playing so effectively lively he played off a big chunk of a man (though not so tall) called Nathaniel Pinney. Think Bayo Akinfenwa and you've...

It's the modern day acquiescence to advertising income over journalism.....90% of the content emanates from new release sent in rather than old school news hounding. The old days of journos lurking around pubs, clubs and brothels have ben replaced with sitting in front of computer screens reading tw...

Make no mistake about it; they DO read all the forums. They then choose to act as if a certain one doesn't exist and you have to ask yourself just why this is. They scrutinise (well Guy Henderson does) twitter and selectively censor what they feel should be aired and what they want swept under the c...

Is Parker too thick to appreciate that is it not 'the club' we want them to support, but the club owners we want them to investigate and the supporters who don't have the grave misgivings that many of us do adequately informed of the actual situation at the club? I don't think he is; I think he is t...

Steve Breed eloquently illustrates his position of CEO at the time Nicholson was appointed and the FACT that the board members went against his advice and suggested short list. I think it's about time that my views on the appointment that are constantly discredited with personal abuse are viewed in ...

Okay - maybe fair comment, Scott. But in the same vein, why not suggest to the Font of All Knowledge that he ceases his, frankly boring, constant 'digs' at Kevin Nicholson, and some of the current squad, and just move on? How can you 'move on' when the club is committed to so much financial damage ...

Signed by Ebbsfleet played 3 games - scored 1 and then put out on loan to Dartford Dec 17 and has yet to get a game. Although to be fair it looks like Dartford will be taking our place next season and so not easy to get into their goal scoring machine team with top class strikers like Duane Ofori-A...

He was just one of Barry Fry's many teenagers at the time (2009) being farmed out to get experience; played a couple of games and then found a much better and more remunerative placement at neighbouring Rushden & Diamonds.

I'm was pretty certain that you would all be hearing from Steve in the very near future on one forum or another; or maybe both! Everyone needs to be aware that when high profile entertainers like Helen Chamberlain, Chris Lintott, Charlie Baker and to an extent even Jim Proudfoot ~ who appears to ha...

Well let's cross one bridge at a time shall we.......... The argument against Nicholson as regards much of the dross he left behind is whether or not he did his due diligence on their recent track records for staying fit and actually playing some football and when you look at them they missed an aw...

I'm pretty certain I know who this is ~ he's a better bet than Blissett ~ and he has been a loan player at Plainmoor in the past; in fact he made his Football League debut for us a young loanee and is no veteran now. Currently out on loan from his parent club if I'm right, but then again I might be ...

'Never loved the game enough' eh? The times I have said that to my eldest son over the past two years and yet I'm probably doing him a did-service just as many did Mark a dis-service. I've learned to step back and leave it to the ones who can deal with that in a proper and constructive way and see ...

When I use the term 'board' I refer to the directors; not the chief executive who was not a director in the strict terms of the word....... Steve wore his heart on his sleeve and they took advantage of him for that when it suited them and removed him when it suited them. That is what happens when y...
