FA Cup replays scrapped from next season
IF. If all the clubs were to stick together and boycott it this year then there is a fair chance that this could be rescinded, or perhaps amended so that if both clubs in a tie could agree beforehand to not replay. There's more chance of me winning the lottery on Saturday, the 50/50 draw at Plainmo...

FA Cup replays scrapped from next season
So, in a nutshell, 700+ clubs have to bend over backwards and lose out on potentially lucrative replays so that the over-paid prima donnas of the PL can have a nice long summer holiday. Cheers FA. What a joke.

Oh, I'm sure there is Culmstock... it was more wishful thinking rather than anything else.culmstockgull wrote: ↑17 Apr 2024, 10:49 If only it was that simple, there may be a confidentiality clause between buyer and club until they have done due diligence.

Now that our league safety is secured, I'm sure the club would NOW love to tell us who our new owner(s) is/are.

Taunton Town v Torquay United Tues 16 April KO 19.45.
For the first time in weeks I've actually had a decent nights sleep! ... Yes, Torquay United, that's what you do to us! Was fearing the worst last night even when we went two up... you just knew that it wouldn't be plain sailing... and when they scored the usual text from Jnr came through 'here we g...

This is getting tiresome - has there been a proposed / rumoured bidder someone hasn't said ' Oh God we don't want him !' Agree 100%. Whoever it is, be it Brewdog, be it The Range, be it Poundland, we're all going to have something to moan about once they are announced...and that is the crux of it.....

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm
Another day on the road to watch yet another gutless performance by our so-called 'professional' team. What a crock of s**t they are. No passion. No fight. No hope. I have lost countless hours of sleep this last week with myriad permutations spinning around in my head. I cannot believe how inept the...

Point deduction.
Just when you think we're safe, a further point deduction for fielding an ineligible player. I had to check the date when I read this... nope, it's not Apr 1st. Jeebus f&*king Ch++_t. How many more times are we going to be kicked in the teeth this season! The post on the official website doesn'...

The silence about the outcome of all of this is deafening. Just bloody tell us! Checking back on here and all over the bloody internet every 5 minutes is bloody stressful. It's bad enough being a Torquay fan right now without all this 'who is it?' malarky. Football is supposed to be enjoyable (for t...

Also Havant v Welling tonight. If my maths is right (which is normally isn't!) if Havant lose or draw they will be relegated. Which takes one team out of the equation at least... leaving two spots to fill for the dreaded drop.

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm
And here we go again... A visit to Trumpton for what is a MUST WIN game. Surely another 3 points on the road isn't too much to ask... is it? With the Romans looking to secure a play-off spot (jeebus, what I'd give to be in their position) and us looking to secure our future in the NLS (how far the m...
