Transfer Rumours 17/18

I agree Gowling is a very good player when fit, but when injured he is a luxury. Sure any transfer is a risk, but getting it wrong costs the club. This season both Nicholson and Owers have made expensive mistakes. Merse wanted Owers to succeed to prove Nicholson a poor coach, but just because Owers ...

Transfer Rumours 17/18

Another 3 months and he will be a free agent anyways and will be able to pick and choose a half decent club to go too. Regional football will not appeal to him nor others at the seasons end like Young, Davis, Gosling, Dorel. I think Pittman and Gowling have another year unless they have a 'get out'...

Torquay United Association Football Club - Sole Director Clarke Osborne

I didn't mean you or certain other people. But it is noticeable that the volume of anti Osbourne sentiment has only risen since the Maidstone debacle.

Torquay United Association Football Club - Sole Director Clarke Osborne

Osborne has admitted he knows nothing about football. If he is a competent businessman he knows that if his plans for a land grab fail, which is highly likely, just read the post from merse above, then the value of his investment will fall off the cliff if we are relegated to National League South....

Alex Rowe rightly spurned their advances.
Surely there's more than just Alex Rowe to approach? Clearly GI aren't arsed about putting in place the local board.
GI no longer own the club. It belongs solely to Clark Osbourne.

Torquay United Association Football Club - Sole Director Clarke Osborne

Professional football is a cut throat business and there is no room for amateurs like Osborne and his brother in law Harrop who simply do not know how to run a professional football club. You are missing the point completely. Osbourne is not here to run a football club. Harrop introduced him to the...

Not sure on that leaflet thing says you have to contact the council. Don't think unless your selling products you would have to pay
In the Torbay council website it says charities, political parties and religious groups are exempt from seeking permission, everyone else needs a license.

If TUST wanted to hand out leaflets in the ground or campaign they would need the clubs permission and I doubt that would be forthcoming. Also handing out leaflets near the ground might lead to legal action by the club. I can't see how they can enforce a ban on handing out leaflets in streets away ...

Torquay v Eastleigh 13/01/2018 (PP)

The only hope, is the piece in the GO annual statement suggesting they are looking to offload the club. I live quite close to Clarke Osborne, I believe he lives in Chew Magna. I hope I run in to him one day. I would love to give him a piece of my mind. Not that he would give a Damn. Hasn't that alr...

Even if Osbourne sacrificed harrop, you still have Osbourne as owner and that is the real issue. This club is going nowhere unless Osbourne decides to relinquish it.

Have you discussed the relegation to Conf south. I’m a member but you seem to have bi-passed the discussion of relegation
I wouldn't have thought team matters came under TUSTs remit.
