Woking v Torquay match thread Monday 28/8/17 3pm
In 28 years, nope. It may now be in the past, but why can't or shouldn't we blame kn to at least a degree, this is his mess ? At the end of last season I totally believed in him, in his reasoning for all that was happening. There was and is a lot going on behind the scenes no doubt, but isn't that t...

Gateshead vs Torquay United 12.8.17
Afraid with no Josh Gowling in defence, we look very poor defensively. Upfront we are lightweight, how is it only us the supporters can see this ? We keep signing good players who are injury prone, it's why no one else wants them. It's difficult to stay positive, think people will soon start turning...

Torquay United vs Tranmere Rovers 5.8.17
A committed performance from both sides. An entertaining 0-0. Tranmere moved the ball around better than us, hit the woodwork twice, and had two debatable red cards. Their number two should of been shown a straight red for an awful challenge on Chaney I think, but wasn't. A minute or so later Keatin...

Keating Signs!
Fantastic news.
If he keeps up that high energy, high commitment play, and keeps learning, he'll be a great addition to us.
Just need Williams alongside him please.
And young in midfield of course.

Brett Williams, should he stay or should he go ?
I have no idea if he even wants to stay, what salary he was on, or wants, or if he's still at odds with Nicholson. I only saw him play the last two home games, but it's obvious if he's in the mood over the course of a season, he will score 20 goals for us. What is the general consensus about him ? I...

4000 really ?
Ok, my bad.
Certainly wouldn't want any forums to be shut down.
Just didn't seem the ground was only 60% full,I won't argue with official figures.

4000 really ?
It's been bugging me most of this evening, as a plastic supporter who was at the game. And has since enjoyed rewatching the goals and looking at all the photos, I just can't believe that attendance as being correct. There must of been 150 to 250 empty seats for the NF supporters, I guess somewhere b...

Torquay v Braintree Easter Monday
When we equalised, think a Torquay player tried to get the ball back from behind the net, some sort of rumpus between him and an extremely overweight away supporter, didn't see how the net was damaged. But was quite fun to watch the stewards struggling to throw (well maybe escort) the Braintree guy ...

Fantastic game, huge stress levels involved for all.
A word about the crowd, rightly or wrongly they let everyone know their support for Kevin Nicholson.
Even GI can't have mistaken it.

Aldershot v Torquay 8/4/17
Afraid being a Torquay supporter has become an unhappy experience, it's difficult not to be angry. we have 1400 -1600 true supporters who turn up through thick and thin, yet seem unable to do anything other than watch the club we love slowly fade away. In my time following the club (1989-onwards) a ...

Err "fit for football" good luck with that one ? Seem to remember we had the odd season as a league club, yes maybe you'll get there before we do again. Using Ben Gerring as an emotional attack ? Is that the best you can do ? That's like saying the only time you'd be seen dead at Plainmoor...

No Plainmoor isn't the Camp Nou, but it is a neat and tidy stadium fit for league football.

With all the doom and gloom just wanted to lighten the mood. With The Walking Deads Andrew Lincoln turning up at St James to watch city on Saturday, i was wondering who, if any, famous surporters we have had at Plainmoor ? I seem to remember Julie Goodyear was a friend of Fash ? And walked round the...

Let's Save Our Club!
Again I do not know any of the requirements needed, but wouldn't be hard to find out. I am guessing minimum pitch size, hard standing, the means to keep spectators safe and away from the pitch, toilets and changing facilities, flood lights. Drive past Torquay Academy, they have a brand new pitch wit...

There are places to start again,
Torquay Boys Grammar has the space, there is already a 3G pitch for the training, I don't know anything about the legalities of such a move if tufc had to start from scratch, but I guess it should be noted.
