"Despite Nicholson proving the doubters wrong it will soon be confirmed that Harrop will take over as Manager."

How soon is 'soon' then?

Harrop

Not very often does SG open a thread and indeed most of his under world contact information is usually right. I have a conspiracy theory, that SG might have been correct at the time of the post, but the overwhelming support for nicho on here and numerous social media has somehow changed the decisio...

Harrop

Despite Nicholson proving the doubters wrong it will soon be confirmed that Harrop will take over as Manager. His close links to the new owner make his deluded ambitions a serious reality. If we don't let our thoughts on that become loud and clear we could be in trouble. He even has a backup plan t...

Guiseley v Torquay

Possibly your last chance to see Lavercombe play for the Gulls so don't miss it ..................... Let's get 500+ there and make it a home game

Bromley FC v Torquay United

Anyone know how Youngy is? Was he taken off as a precaution? Hope it's nothing serious Youngy was taken off after getting a heavy knock and suffering a dead leg. Should be fine for next Saturday. Good to see 500+ at Bromley today. Can't see why we can't better that at Guiseley and give the current ...

Guiseley Away - Fancy dress

This could still be a meaningful game. It would be great if we could get 500 behind the team and make it like a home match atmosphere. Forget about doing anything else on the 30th and get yourself and everyone you know to Guiseley.

Credit where credit is due..

430 mile round trip for me but I'll be there.

I know there have always been 'big' matches in the club's history but the next 5 don't come much bigger as a sequence of games given the stakes.

Torquay United v Tranmere Rovers

Was at the away game earlier in the season. The team was still in transition then - I think the first time that Harrad and Blissett played together. At 1-0 down they were going for an equaliser and got hit on the break for 2-0. Pulled one back but couldn't find another. Chaney played well as a sub b...

Torquay V Chester - Now Tue 5th April

Gareth Law @tufc_physio tweeted a while ago: Young is out for 2 weeks. Smith & Lavercombe back in training. Nothing mentioned about Racchi AFAIK.

Dover v Torquay United

Just back from the match. For me the result hinged on the challenge on Berry. He gets a broken ankle and the Dover player gets a yellow card. Clearly should have been a red. With Racchi not playing the defence already had an unfamiliar look about it at the back and after Berry went off, Richards wen...

sherpa van trophy 1989

What memories of the Final. I was with my father who was 69 at the time - a life long fan. I never thought we'd see Torquay play at Wembley. I still have the flag from the final hanging up on the wall in my garage. Makes me smile every time I go in there. Thanks for posting the footage. So many memo...
