PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

The Plainmoor 'issue' was deferred to the 6 February meeting to allow Kevin Mowatt time to prepare a thorough paper. It was not discussed today. King George playing fields were, however, discussed. Decision to keep them as public going to full council for ratification (although the mayor and all co...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

I spotted this in a piece on the back page of the Herald written by David Thomas: "Landlords Torbay Council were due to hold a regular meeting of the Policy, Development and Decision Group committee today. The subject of Plainmoor and its lease was not on the advance agenda, although it could be add...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

...if GI are blocked and their plans to strip the club are foiled........ ...then we still have a club. "HOW does the club continue to survive financially over a period longer than the next season." TUST? Peter Masters? TUST & Peter Masters? White Knight? GI might change their spots but if not and ...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

Personally I am 100 % in favour of moving the club away from Plainmoor, but I did sign this petition because it's an issue of trust for me, can we trust G.I on past history clearly not. I fully admit to be one of those who have said, give them a chance, however until I see some concrete evidence of...

I forgot to say I heard Nicholson say on the radio before the game on saturday that Young would be starting contact as of next week. He then went on to say that he has a slight chance to be in the squad against Maidstone
Great news. My favourite player too.

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

Many of those members don't live in the bay.... The petition needs 25 signatures to be considered by the Council and I'm pretty sure that Bay residents made up the first 25 to sign. I'd say that it's important now to show the Council the strength of feeling by getting as many signatures as possible...

Torquay v Woking 14/01/17

I know there is a petition against GI... The petition is not against GI. It is about making sure that the Council as landlords of Plainmoor do not sell the club down the river. The petition is, as the title says, about saving Plainmoor to ensure that TUFC continue to play there. As David Thomas has...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

As someone living away from Torquay who should I write to at the council to give my views - and point out the loss of income to the town from the many home & away fans who travel here for the football? See my post on page 2 of this thread timed 12.11 The emails sent so far would seem to have had an...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

I've signed the petition - number 28. But we need many many more signatures to show strength of feeling. It needs to run into thousands. Everyone needs to put it on social media and get the word around. I will contact the FSF (assuming no one else has). Yes please, feel free to post on other forums...
