Club Ownership
If things aren't resolved quickly the whole club will be shut down. Time for the current directors to do 'what's right for the club' finally as words are cheap If the new owners decide to scale back the youth system because it's all we an afford then it will be a crying shame but the alternatives co...

Season Tickets
I'm not surprised and actually am quite happy that the current board are not pocketing any money from season tickets. However, should the takeover happen then all of us need to do what we can to support the new owners and a run on season tickets would give them a real boost and one they would deserve.

Takeover 50/50 ?

Bloody annoying that he won't wander off to their forum as well. His posts bored me to tears when he supposedly supported us now the just annoy me. Sanctimonious hypocrite !!

Bruce I know that actually reading what was written is not a strong point for you but I did not say we did actually get relegated under MB. I said we should have been. How on earth you now give him credit for an unfit ground at Stevenage is beyond me. However if we want to get in to facts it was act...

There is of course the argument that Mike Bateson stripped the club down to the bare bones and ending up leaving a shell of a professional football club which has cost this board (well Paul and Thea Bristow) a small fortune to repair. I'm all for having a self sustaining football club but a league 2...

Good to see you obviously know nothing about modern football. They still have to work defensively. I bow to your obviously superior knowledge. if you think that 3 forward players cover the full backs as well as two out and out wide men then that's fine and you are more than entitled to your opinion...

Luke Gutteridge was a mistake but hardly a huge loss. Can't think of any others though

Do you think our full backs are good enough for us to play without wingers?

Can't see him being anything other than a lower league or non league player. I've always quite liked him as he can be exciting on his day and puts the required effort in. However, his days are very rare and his end product is generally appalling. Good luck to him but don't think for one minute that ...

On the issue of budget, it could be argued that other teams have similar or less BUT whether we like it or not location is a real problem. Other teams may get a relatively experienced player on a low wage because that player is settled in an area but we will basically only attract kids as there is n...

I totally understand where you are coming from Scott and although it's difficult to defend CH right now I do think he deserves to be cut as much slack as possible as quite simply he earned that as a player for us. My view is that he has been dealt a shocking hand and isn't playing it particularly we...

But lately Bowman has not been holding the ball up and performing like he did yesterday. I'm not putting it down as some sort of managerial master stroke but it does feel that CH is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't at the moment. He picked Cambell after Tuesday's debacle as he was better t...

No he didn't. He left our best striker, who scored both our goals, On the bench. Hargreaves got lucky - I've seen nothing from Campbell to suggest he can put in a performance anywhere near the level of Bowman's today. Yet another example of fans never being prepared to give any credit. I suspect yo...

It seems there is another allegation of biting from him today. If this is right and he's found guilty, it will be interesting to see how D&R handle it as I would find it hard to imagine that they do manage the situation worse than we did!!

There really is some rubbish posted on here. Firstly I very much doubt that the posters who quote £100K per year have the first idea what CH actually earns but it almost certainly is nowhere near that. Secondly the nonsense about a rolling contract is just incorrect. He sighed a two and half year co...
