Bryn Consortium Take-Over
Not so sure about that, it seems according to the small print the Torquay United AFC Ltd will continue to run the club with the Bryn consortium being the major shareholder, I hope that does not mean that Edawrds and Hayman stay in post. Torquay United AFC Ltd is the club as a whole. Osborne's compa...

Osborne gone!
As we still haven’t technically entered administration yet, are Saturdays ticket sales still lining osbournes pockets? I'd like to know the answer to this too They've stated on this post on the OS that all revenue generated will be used to help pay the running costs. Please come and support your te...

Is it known if we had any form of sell on clause for Lewis? All I can see from the time is we got an undisclosed fee/compensation package. The rumoured fee I've seen for his Wimbledon move is £180k, so even a small slice of that would be nice.

If you go onto the salary sport web site and type in exeter city it gives the salaries of the whole squad. You can take the figures on those kind of sites with a pinch of salt. At best they're normally educated guesses. Exeter would also likely be paying of percentage of Muskwe's wages as well, not...

Torquay Utd v Weston super Mare 25/10/23 Ko 19:45
Overall a poor performance. A lack of quality and a lack of options on the bench to turn things around. On first impressions the penalty looked harsh, seemed to bounce up and hit Marshall's hand in a seemingly natural position. Would need to see a replay to confirm though. Downes seemed to make a be...

Good luck to him. Glad he's found himself another league club.

Dover Athletic v Torquay United - 3pm 5th Aug
Regan Charles Cook who scored Dovers equaliser was top scorer at Ross County in season 2021/22 in the Scottish Premier League. How on earth did he end up at Dover via a team in Belgium I have never heard of. It's not Regan it's his brother Roman, who was released by Sutton this summer after spendin...

Pre-Season Friendlies
Guessing we're probably playing against a mix of U21 and U18 players? A Reading fan I know mentioned this week to me that due to their current issues they've had to draft a number of their U21 side in to the first team at the moment as otherwise they don't have enough senior players.

New Kit New Sponsor !
The home kit does not look great. It would look OK without those white stripes, but doesn't work with them.
The away kit is actually quite nice. The stripes work a lot better and it's a nice mix of the blue away kits we had in the early-mid '90s.

New Signings for the 2023-2024 Season
Seems like a good signing for this level. Several good goal scoring seasons in NLS and see there's a Plainmoor connection as his academy manager and then manager at Weston was Ryan Northmore.

New Signings for the 2023-2024 Season
at 27, you'd have to be really determined to be able to say "professional footballer" if it's going to be your first full-time contract. Even if you manage to forge a 'good' career, you're not retiring at 35 with enough money to not work again. So, as a current part-time player, it might ...

New Signings for the 2023-2024 Season
Is he still under contract at Argyle? His time there is probably up with them going up. Argyle announced a few days ago that he's being released at the end of the season. He'd be a good signing if he wants to stay local but suspect he'll have better offers elsewhere. I wonder if we'll be looking at...
