UNCLE CLARKES RADIO DEVON INTERVIEW

Coinciding with the article on BBC newspage, did anyone else hear the piece about the club on Radio Devon this morning. Gordon Sparkes actually seemed very smypathetic to our plight to be fair. Finally Clarke Osbourne granted the BBC a proper interview, there were interesting highlights played, I'm...

Andy does have a po0int though he didn't put it across very well. Fans giving money to a player whose career on the pitch is over. and that is the crux of the matter. it's only his football career that's over. they sometimes go on as if the guy has died. he is still capable of work in other areas. a...

Hereford - NLN or NLS

Until the season is done and dusted ~ both above and below Hereford's current station ~ no-one will know for sure. But who accompanies them up from the Southern will be critical. If it is Kings Lyn then surely they will be place in national North but if it is Weymouth or Slough for instance then ob...

'mist of despair' - Club Statement

Apparently, we are ' making real progress' and 'much more will be said in the coming days and weeks', so says Osborne. What else can be said - ticket prices are £1 a game , Torquay are signing Messi and Ronaldo? whatever it is, it better be good because I am getting feed up with the bull-shit this ...

Radio Devon next season

several teams in the NATIONAL NORTH and SOUTH have local bbc radio commentaries. Hereford. York. Telford. are just 3 that are given a good service. so there's no reason for Devon not to continue unless they don't think we are worth it.

DARTFORD FC Stadium. Princes Park is not only up to National league standard. it's at Least league two if not even league 1 standard. its new. covered on all sides and boasts green standards that even Forest Greens owner would envy. Should Havant and Waterloo get promoted, Westleigh park is decent a...

OK, so we are down. we can commiserate with the likes of Brechin City. the first British side to go down having not won a league match all season. the longest stretch for them was 16 defeats on the trots. and after that run, I suspect many of the supporters had trots too. So we look forward. (well t...

Was this the plan all along?

I bet if someone took a ride up to Port Talbot to find this so-called flatpack stadium it wouldn't exist. The land he proposed to build the Swindon Stadia on has now disappeared under a new development. The stadium is now supposed to be built where the present one resides. and its supposed to go on ...

This has been brought up before, and it's entirely feasible that he be seen to run the club above board well. while at the same time undermining the foundations of the club, to the point we fall so low down the Pyramid we become nothing more than a two-bit part-time pub team. unsustainable in any de...

It's such a shame to see our club go so far down the pan. After the Barrow result we don't even look likely to claim 4th from bottom let along escape relegation. ive had to be realistic this time. we are already down. the best thing we can do is prepare ourselves for next season visiting Weston-Supe...

Just a thought. but what would the chances be of the club going into administration now? could the owner do it? would there be any advantage to him? we are down anyway so a points deduction is of no consequence. but it would get rid of a large debt to Thea. and he could walk away laughing.
