Torquay v Woking 14/01/17

Thought selection was poor Rooney and Chaney should have started. :keepie: Kevin Nicholson kept us in the Natonal League, he's been trying to run a professional football club on a shoestring budget and off the field he's got the takeover rumbling on which must be unsettling for him, Robbie Herrara ...

New Players/Loan

Can anyone explain to me the logic of bringing in a 20 year old right back from Bournemouth when we have only just brought in a defender (Rooney) Millwall who seemed to do a good enough job against Boreham? Doesn't make sense to me when we desperately need someone who can manage a shot on target !!

MOTM - Woking

Aman Verma
Dan Sparkes
David Fitzpatrick
L. Rowe-Turner
Brendan Moore - his distribution was much better yesterday

Really surprises nobody else has included Verma in their top five. I thought he was by far our best player.

Tomorrow's game

I shall be there I've fought off a zimmer for the last ten years but my daughter is special and she's travelling down to see me. :-D That's very inconsiderate of your daughter, Arcadia. She should have come down on your birthday - not on a Saturday when there's a home match. ;-) Stoo - we've had so...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

Take a look at Nightingale Park on google maps... 6/7/8 times the size of Plainmoor? IMHO it's simply a land swap deal with the council i.e. You give us Nightingale, we'll surrender our rights to Plainmoor. The council then have the hassle of covenants, Asset of Community etc. What Google Maps don'...

Shaun Harrad

Did someone say they want to pair Harrad and Williams together - fuck me we will be relegated cause neither of them could hit a cows arse with a banjo. Well yes, Brucie - it was me who posted that Harrad could possibly work well with Brett Williams, but I did add that it was more in hope than expec...

Torquay v Boreham Wood 07/01/17

From a brilliant Boxing Day game to a depressingly poor game today, right down to the excellent referee on Boxing Day to the goddam awful ref today. I just wish Nico had been more adventurous by going for broke as Mark Cooper was when FGR were losing on Boxing Day. I'd liked to have seen Chaney and ...

MOTM - Boreham Wood

David Fitzpatrick
Sam Chaney
Dam Sparkes
L. Rowe-Turner
Only four from me as well, although Brendan did okay with what little he had to do, but his distribution was poor today. Jamie Reed worked hard up front but his game is not as a lone striker.

January Tranfers Ins&Outs

Exeter City striker Jamie Reid's loan extended to the end of the season. Reid and Harrad might turn out to be a good partnership Now, I admit this is more in hope than expectation, but Shaun Harrad is a wily old fox and I think much of Nathan Blissett's success last season stemmed from the work of ...

And finally: so now all bearded Muslims (and those of other faiths or none at all) look like garden gnomes? They all look alike, you mean? Christ Merse, you want to watch that potty mouth. Matt. I am glad that Neal has brought us back on subject, but is it any wonder that this forum is referred to ...

MOTM - Forest Green

Verma

Great commitment by every player. I thought Sam Chaney has a very good first half - almost made my top five.

Turning up on Boxing Day!

Yes - I fully agree with Alpine Joe. Good post. This could be an important role for TUST and so I hope the chairman doesn't take the attitude that he wants nothing to do with GI. We're all very suspicious of their true intentions, and with good cause. It would be interesting to know the conditions t...

WILL THE REAL DAVE THOMAS PLEASE STAND UP

dave thomas reports on what he told, i can assure you he doesnt sit in their pocket, if they choose not to tell him something then thats down to the board, he has been as fustrated as anyone with these events. Disabled facilities

Samuel - in a week that has probably been as bad as any in the club's history, it is good to have something positive. You have battled on over the past 12 months with this project whilst the club has been in turmoil and an absolute shambles. What you have achieved for disabled fans is fantastic and ...
