The great escape has to start soon. Is this the last chance?

Convinced a new ground will be for the good of Torquay United - or convinced it will make him and his companies richer?

Wrexham v Torquay 6/1/18

I thought about going Saturday but after Boreham Wood decided against. Good decision it seems.
It doesn't look as if there's going to be any repeat of the last two miracle escapes.

MOTM - Boreham Wood

Mcginty stood out above the rest of our team, so is my only nomination for MOTM.

Torquay v Boreham Wood

Having just watched the 'lowlights' of yesterday's game, the most irritating part was the stupid music that kept playing whenever BH scored, and at the end of the match too. The most concerning part however was the reaction of the Torquay players when BH scored their first goal - er...no reaction a...

Torquay v Boreham Wood

Yes he was stupid but it was still a referring error to give the penalty.

Torquay v Boreham Wood

Shouldn't have been a penalty. The first offence is what counts and that was a foul by their player. It should have been a free kick to Torquay, and maybe both players booked.

Torquay v Boreham Wood

A very poor performance against a team with 400 fans. How do they manage to be in a play-off position with such rubbish support? We simply never looked like scoring. Defence was OK, midfield seemed scared to hold the ball and attack was non-existent. We weren’t helped by an awful ref – who showed hi...

Torquay United v Maidstone United 11/11/17

I wasn't there but from what I've read (and saw at Ebbsfleet) things seem significantly better than they were. Results aren't as bad, there seems to be some spirit but what's lacking is the ability to score goals. Six points from safety isn't insurmountable (we've come back from worse in the last tw...

Very confused - what is GI's game?

Did you know that a greyhound track was constructed in Kingskerswell in 1932 on the east side of the Great Western Railway Torquay branch line and the west side of the Torquay Road. The name The Halfway Racetrack derived from the Half Way Cottages and Half Way Inn that were located on its east side...

Ebbsfleet United v Torquay united 24/10/17

A deserved win. So much better organised and confident than a few weeks ago. Still lacking presence up front but didn’t look like a relegation team. Last few minutes were a bit panicky. Need to do more than just hoof the ball back to opposition (at least put it out for a throw) and if taking it to c...

The Task Ahead with 33 Games to Play

Tomorrow night is crucial. With recent signs of improvement in performances if not results I think there's still hope and a win tomorrow will bring confidence for the coming fixtures.
Wish I could be there.
