Potential Buyers

That would be the TUST consortium bid.

Taunton Town v Torquay United Tues 16 April KO 19.45.

If we beat Taunton we will have 50 points and better goal difference. If Taunton beat us & Weston they will have 48. Hemel have 49. Whatever the result on Taunton v Hemel one will have less than 50 points. A draw at Taunton & win over Havant will see us safe. Defeat to Taunton and we need Ta...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

The extra games in this week’s fixtures haven’t really fallen well for us. Taunton & Eastbourne both play Weston who are one of only five teams with nothing to play for. Taunton have had the same 3 day break as us before we play Tuesday. They play Weston Thursday but Weston will also have played...

Taunton Town v Torquay United Tues 16 April KO 19.45.

I'd be very happy with a draw.

There is some heavy rain forecast for Monday but Tuesday is said to be dry. Hopefully there will be no problem with the game going ahead but if the venue is to be changed I hope we'll be told on Monday. I've already lost one hotel cost at Taunton.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Sorry there’s an error in my post that I can’t edit - it should say Taunton play Hemel not Weston so both could not exceed 50 points.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

It is a worry. I didn't feel it was a complete lack of effort but not the fight that one would expect in a relegation battle. Plus tactics again - long ball with one shortish forward against tall defenders just didn't work. I fear we will lose at Taunton who are clearly up for a fight. Surely we can...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

I can’t see us winning at Taunton who are making areal fight of it but if we do we’re safe.
Draw and we’re safe if we beat Havant.
Lose and we’re relying on Taunton failing to beat Weston or beating Hemel.

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm

Bath 3-1 torquay If we get anything out of this game will be a real bonus. A win I think would make safe but cannot see it coming with this game. Hopefully the win will come Tues. An unexpected win today would be a huge step towards staying up but now we've had an extra point deducted we can't be s...

Staying Up - Relegation Battle

Was rueing the fact that the last match may be a dead rubber but Marshall has cost us again and brought us right back into the mix. Marshall is not primarily responsible for this. It is a club administrative matter and the club secretary is normally responsible - and sometimes resign as a result of...

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm

Strangely, the league has ruled that Slough's 4-2 win against Bath ,abandoned in the 70th minute due to a medical incident in the crowd, will stand but the goals for and against won't be counted. The spectator receiving treatment recovered within 5 minutes but Bath boss, Jerry Gill, refused to brin...

Hemel not safe yet either.
They play Taunton last game. If they don’t beat Slough Saturday loser of that could go down.
Taunton & Dartford look the most likely to go.

Truro 0 Eastbourne 0
Good result for us I think as it keeps both teams in the mix. Particularly good that Eastbourne didn’t win as they stay behind us with three games left.
