Exeter playoff

Well done City and good luck in the final. Of course we were there first and I have happy memories of our own play off final victory over Blackpool at the old Wembley stadium. It's just a shame that the Exeter mascot is now some guy in a great big pantomime costume rather than Athena who I remember ...

Good to see an Andrew back at the club!

Seriously, this can only be a good thing as it adds stability and nous to the back room staff.

The Play Offs

Correct my last post, Rotherham were beaten by Swansea who then controversially beat us in the final (well, I thought it was so, as the ref had a stinker in the second leg)

The Play Offs

In the early days of the playoffs that last option was tried (I seem to remember Rotherham surviving a drop by winning against a team trying to climb up and over them)

The Play Offs

And with my cup half empty, it's also easier to get back into League 2 from League 1 than from League 2 to National League as we proved after Southend.

Transfer Rumours 17/18

Kieffer Moore kindly put in a guest appearance at the kids' training day this afternoon. It appears to have been very successful and was well run with lots of smiling faces at the end.

At least Kieffer still knows where Plainmoor is.

Meet Lingy!

For those who aren't sure how to get there, turn off at the Penn Inn roundabout if you are coming from Exeter. If you go beyond the Penn Inn Roundabout you're on a different web site.

The match appears to be on Saturday by the way.

4000 really ?

It was a light hearted throw away Dave!

I've actually commented within the various boards' match threads on how I felt about the crowd on the day. I'm not privy to the total calculations but I can state that my own gate was much, much busier than it has been in the recent past.

Final Game - North Ferriby @ 12:15

Spot on Frenchgull, in addition, Kenny Veasey, who was at the match*, wasn't too bad when in his prime.

* keeping things on the thread subject!

Final Game - North Ferriby @ 12:15

Tomogull, Here we go again, old codgers with nothing better to do.... you're forgetting one or two goalkeepers and a host of others if you are including Colin Bettany that high in the list. Solid, dependable, our own Norman Hunter in fact but at or near the top, hmmmm.

So now we know - Herald Express

In fact the Bryn episode has been magnified out of all proportion as the length of the match was unaltered by the incident. The ref merely added time to cover that lost, no more, no less.
