SACK NICHOLSON!!

It'll be Harrop or Tully. Both with less experience than Nicho. Back to square one - a manager coming into a squad that isn't his. I hope now we can all finally join together and realise that the real problem is above the manager's head. I imagine it will be Harrop on Saturday and probably the follo...

Gateshead vs Torquay United 12.8.17

He did a good job against Tranmere. Looks like Gateshead exploited him well though.

Also looks like we were lucky it was only three really.

Jamie Reid

Broken his wrist today, so will be out of action for a few weeks.

That's, what, 4 injuries this week already?

SACK NICHOLSON!!

sorry Plymouth my opinion is that he isn't good enough, this was apparent last season as well, is kept us up by the skin of his teeth, sooner or later we will go down under him, its needs to change, we need to get our beer goggles off. Fair enough. It's a shame this has come up again though; I real...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

Since when did Gateshead become the marker for being good/rubbish? They're a solid outfit at this level, not like they're cut adrift every single year! Also, being pedantic but it's actually Nicholson's second full season in charge. I don't think we can really fault him much for the 2015/16 campaign...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

I also believe Nicho is not worthy anymore, however I do not think that is the whole side of the story every year we are left with players that are mostly injury prone or had a falling out etc. This is because not many people want to come to Torquay. Firstly, we do not have the funds to sign better...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

scoff at my suggestions all you like but this is a fucking mess and I don't care weather its Leroy, buckle or walter mitty, we need someone else other than nicho, and what makes you think Leroy couldn't sort this mess out, we played the best football under him, we are in shit street 3 games in and ...

Gateshead vs Torquay United predictions

Well this result is an absolute embarrassment. Or is this another "tough game". We have a team consisting of the piss weak Chaney at full back. Our new full back hasn't kicked a ball in anger all season and appears to have been crocked before we signed him. Our stellar center half is crocked alread...

Gateshead vs Torquay United 12.8.17

Any team that has Luke Young in it is going nowhere but unfortunately KN thinks he's the business. Personally I think he c**p. The other thing I can't understand is that basis to getting results for any team is not to conceded but we can't seem to do that consistently, which amazes me as both the m...

SACK NICHOLSON!!

It didn't take long, did it? I'd be very interested in hearing some suggestions of who would actually come in? The club has been a basket case for years and is no doubt viewed as such within the footballing world. Yes, he's made mistakes, but lets not forget that we've played two sides who finished ...

Aldershot Town vs Torquay United 08.08.17

Having now had time to see the highlights, we'd have been very fortunate to come out with anything really. Clarke was by far the busier of the two keepers. I do believe that their third goal, however, does have some question marks over it. Rendell and Clarke are very clearly pulling at each other an...

Jordan Lee

Just reading on the BBC website that Jordan has been suffering from chest pains. Hopefully nothing serious and he'll be back soon.

Feel he adds a lot to our right hand side when he's on, and if they play together regularly enough, could form a very solid partnership with Ryan Higgins.

Aldershot Town vs Torquay United 08.08.17

not having Lathrope screening the back four last night seemed a bizarre decision, especially when Gowling was removed from the equation. .........or is Lathrope (only 64 minutes on Saturday and with a history of 'sicknotes') another who cannot be utilised Sat-Tue-Sat? It really makes me suspicious ...

Aldershot Town vs Torquay United 08.08.17

I didn't go last night but I can't say I was expecting much. Aldershot had much the better of the game at theirs in April, and I imagine that last night followed suit. I do not think that we are a team that is comfortable retaining possession for prolonged periods; I think we are generally quite a d...
