Re: Ex-Gull Star Becomes A Manager

I wish Matty the best at Stafford; remember going there in the Conference days and Ive never witnessed such vitriol directed at their team, manager and the officials when we beat them..................the very best Matty

Re: Zebroski

I am amazed by some peoples attitude on here; we all know what that area is like at night time ; a virtual no police go area and its inevitable that most nights someone will suffer being there. The fact that the 'victim' was having a go at Guy and Chris stepped in and all he got was a bit of a thump...

Re: Charnock moves on....

Charnock is a good quality league 2 player and i suppose, given our decreased budget, PB has agreed to move him on in that we have 3 decent centre halves (tho I dislike Ellis and Robertson as a central pairing). I cant imagine anyone wants him to go but he is better than the occasional reserve game. ...

Re: Why do you support Torquay?

I was bought up in Brixham in the 50/60s and Dad took me and my brother to Torquay in the early 60s well before the World Cup of 66 which got a few of my mates interested. I was totally taken by the sheer energy of the place - amazing evening games, the smoke, the noise, the skill and physicality of...

Re: 4-4-2

I made Macclesfield but not Aldershot so I cant comment on that game. Against Macclesfield we tried to pass it around like a Italian led premiership club but we dont have the class to do that so too often Maclefield went wow thanks for the ball mate I knew you were going to do that (if it wasnt hit ...

He is quite happy on his mobility scooter and hopefully Ill be down on Saturday to watch with him. How accessible is Plainmoor on his scooter and would I have to inform anyone b...

Re: Southend - Torquay

I think we have all seen the quality we can produce to not let a oneoff at Southend really worry us too much. Gone are the days when we got a few results by a bit of luck or rank bad play by the opposition; our team can really play good stuff and even the nonfootball interested in my family have bee...
