Re: So much negativity!!?...
League 2 is going to be a totally different proposition next year - Plymouth,Crawley,Swindon,Bristol Rovers. We will do well to avoid relegation.

Re: Goodbye Tomlin
What we need is a big strong striker line Akinde - damn he's just signed for Crawley. Atl least we can look forward to being beaten twice next season by Raynor and Evans. Its enough to make you take up watching hockey.

Re: League 2 Playoff Final: Stevenage vs Torquay United
massive massive let down against a team who ability wise we were steaks ahead of. No shots on targets in ninety minutes - well thats a damning statistic in a play off final. Buckles after match assertion that we were the better side was abject nonsense. Our best period was in the 20 minutes after ha...

Re: positive vibes from now please
Having seen the home victory over Stevenage I would ignore the bookies and rate us as genuine favourites. We have the better players, the pitch should suit our game and barring key injuries, if we play as we can we will surely win this. The only worry for me is the referee. Deadman is a clueless pr*...

Re: Trollope to you?
Obviously Buckle doesn't fancy managing a league 1 club then. Lets hope he doesn't go on one of his legendary losing runs as soon as he gets there. Can't see the Rovers board being as forgiving as ours. And as for being able to do better than Bristol Rovers - well he can't because noone else seems t...

Re: Ticket Fiasco
I cannot go on saturday as I don't finish work till 10am and I am gutted. I can scarcely believe this thread - or can I.
Why oh Why do we get the same old fiasco over and over and bver again. It ain't a cheap day out either. Giod what a mess.
perhaps watching it on the tv won't be so bad after all.

Re: bookies cant decide!
They obviously did not see the game at Plainmoor then. The comprhensive second half dismantling of Stevenage in the second half - it could have been 8 not 2. Seldom have I seen a football team so completely outplayed. if we play anywhere near that standard we will win it for sure.

Re: Mark Ellis
i'd be more than happy seeing Ellis line up alongside Robbo and Branston in the second leg at Shrewsbury. Ellis is a warrior and exactly what we need cause its going to be a war. Three in central defence would suit me. I know Buckle is saying that we are going to attack but do we really need to?

Re: stewards
Dave - Is the steward you are referring to (ie the head of the response team) the one with the oblong head and pointy features. Shaven hair at the sides and sometimes a small goatee beard. He wears jackboot trousers and struts around like he owns the place. I was actually "ejected" at the ...

Re: Torquay v Shrews 1st leg
I am not confident either. We cannot possible go with Oastler and Lathrope in midfield. Stanley is a better player than Wroe but Wroe is twice as good as either LAthrope or Oastler.
We need to totally change our midfield pairing which must be O'Kane and Mansell.

Re: Tomlin Loan Extension
No but wasn't very impressed with him against Cheltenham. Judging from the commentary he appeared to be awful though - Murray seems a far better player to me. Don't think Tomlin is what we need up front and he isn't as good as the wide men we have already.
