MacDonald to Norwich?

if this is true then it would be perfect, however knowing torquay united as we do, then we've probably already ballsed things up by inserting a clause within a clause, that negates the sell on clause until barnsley are back in the big time and gus has 56 caps for namibia!

Why on earth take someone on loan for two months (McCoulsky) and never play him? Doesn't matter if you're a permanent signing or just on loan, you still need to work hard in training and earn a place in the starting eleven. Just because you were in the right place at the right time to get a go in a...

Geoff Harrop on his way back?

DOF or Chief Executive or some other high level role would seem the obvious position. With the owners not having any knowledge of running a football club I am sure they will be keen to appoint someone who does.

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

TUST had a meeting with Councillors today. According to email it was positive but with caveats. I am sure Mr Candy will pop it in the TUST thread before too long.

New Players/Loan

I'm sure I read somewhere recently that Philipps agreed a deal on the sell-on to pay December's wages, or was that someone else? No, I don't think that's quite right. My understanding is that the (widely reported) transfer fee was £ 100k with half of it paid upfront in August - when he moved - and ...

It's not that bizarre. The boy obviously has talent, he already has one injury hit season in the Championship under his belt (playing for that season's worst team) and he's still just about young enough. For all the talk of us looking for the next Jamie Vardy, Kieffer Moore could actually be the one...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

...if GI are blocked and their plans to strip the club are foiled........ ...then we still have a club. "HOW does the club continue to survive financially over a period longer than the next season." TUST? Peter Masters? TUST & Peter Masters? White Knight? GI might change their spots but if not and ...

I doubt Ipswich have signed Moore as 'one for the future' that they would be willing to loan out. He's 24 years old, this is his opportunity to forget the last three years and prove this time that he is good enough for the Championship, not simply the 'joint third highest scorer' in the division's w...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

I dont iive in the bay any more but i signed up too. first thing i did when i saw it online. so why cant others be bothered Because not everyone wants to force the club to remain at Plainmoor when moving to a new ground might actually be for the best. I am more interested in making sure GI build us...

PLAINMOOR FOR SALE?

I'm not sure if I'm missing the point or you guys are. I suspect the freehold of plainmoor is of no interest to GI, aside from its limited size, it is probably of more value to Westlands than it is to a developer. The value lies in obtaining Nightingale Park for a nominal sum, developing the new st...

This would seem the obvious card the council are holding - "Sure, you can buy Plainmoor, just as soon as there is a suitable new football ground for us to transfer the covenant and asset of community value to'. "Now the planning application department is just down the corridor..."

Nathan Blissett MOM today.. Gone tomorrow?

We've managed to sell a striker whose contract was up at the end of the season and has managed to score a whopping 4 goals this season. Calm down guys, this really isn't the end of the world. Alternatively, we've sold one of our better players to a team in a higher division, again. More evidence of ...

You mean the first team striker at the team third in the league? Sadly I fear the only time he will return to Plainmoor is as an away player or maybe in about 5 years when he's past his best.

If Philips was still in charge I would be wondering if it was David Pipe the racehorse trainer! Happy with both to be honest. Pipe is a solid pro with loads of League experience. Just the sort of player we need. Harrad is a much more 'hard-working' striker, someone that I think Nicho can work with m...
