James Hurst suspended by club
Would anyone expect similar behaviour of Andy Murray the night before an important tennis game? Why should such behaviour by any sportsman at any level be tolerated by those who pay his wages? Read what Brucie has said above, not sure anyone can really have a go at the player for going out. On the ...

Altrincham v Torquay United
Well If you read back through past posts you may change your view. As for this being my opinion it's not just mine, been mentioned to me by multiple people who read this site and are all of the same opinion. It may not be your intention, but that's how a lot of the posts you have made in relation to...

Dave not sure what your issue is with Dan, but you appear to take every opportunity to knock the lad. If someone has a pop at Spiess you seem to turn that around to something about Dan. I think you need to turn your attention to something else as it's starting to look like Spiess is your love child ...

I have been following this for some time, but have not posted on hear due to the posts of some of the idiots who had a tendency to frequent these forums. I would like to say thanks to Steve Breed for at least taking the time to keep people informed of what is going on at our club. Nobody else has ta...

Depends on how much revenue will be lost through re-arranged games. We all know the drainage issues with our pitch and with the men's, ladies and Truro playing on it combined with a wet winter then there could be hell on! Are you concerned about the quality of football that might be produced on a s...

The fact he's been released by Ebbsfleet, would kind of suggest not.gulls1989 wrote:Mark Gower (ex-Swansea) has been released by Ebbsfleet. Some much needed experience at the back?
I had no idea he'd dropped down so far in such a sort space of time. He's 36 now but could still have something to offer...

They class the hours that the players work as being time at training ground. So technically they claim that the hourly rate is higher, and that they just work less hours. Truth of the matter is, anyone earning £7500 for a full time profession is not being looked after or being well payed. Dosen't ma...

£150 is below the national minimum wage. It equates to less than £7500 a year. That said I think you will find that the offer from Torquay to first year pros is actually a figure less than the £150 per week

Why is Hargreaves boosting this lad up and advertising it to all when has hasn't even signed a professional contract? It occurs to me that Hargreaves is naïve and is in a learning curve himself. Don't think you will find he is being boosted up by Hargreaves. I suggest it's more likely that Hargrea...

AFCB connection jumps out of his playing history. I rather hope this indicates that we're hoping or expecting Lavercombe to depart for greener pastures sooner rather than later. Matt. why are we hoping he is going elsewhere ? he's 1 year into a 2 year youth contract. If your expecting him to leave,...

Joss Labadie - Accepts 10 game Ban
I maybe misreading this, but my understanding of a 10 game ban is that he has to be registered at a club to serve it. Which means if we sack him or he leaves by mutal consent he is no longer serving the ban, and any new club he signs for he would have to serve the ban for them. Is it not likely that...

We have taken 1 point from the last 6 games, How do you think we are going to suddenly find 12 points from the next 6 games ? Add into the mix, that the side with the next poorest run of form is 10 points in front of us, and the other sides in the mix have all found the ability to start winning. In ...
