Yes, I'm always happy to go on and on about Robin or Tommy or 'The Beast' or 'Big Fry' or Ernie and -yes - even as new as Lors. Just a reminder of my BIG THREE; 1. The unsurpassable Robin Stubbs 2. The magnificent John Smith 3. The talented Mark Loram I should think that, this time, brucie agrees wi...

Plymouth PSF Tonight

I stand corrected, Mr. torq2u. I should have said 'we', not 'you'. But after 51 years at Plainmoor, I can't lose my allegiance. I will try to get to the Victoria Ground (Hartlepool) this season.

However, not all is bleak ladies and gents. You'll certainly get points off Gateshead when you play them. I was at the Whitby Town vs Gateshead pre-season last night (1-1) and I can assure you that there'll be nothing to fear from the 'heed'.

I noticed a certain Liam Northcott was in the United side at Newton Abbot. I wonder if he is any relation to the great Tommy.

National League Fixture release 2017/18

If you're going to Hartlepool or Gateshead and the match is called off suddenly, make the short trip down the coast and enjoy the medieval abbey, the Georgian vernacular architecture (inter alia) and the glorious up-to-date football of Whitby.

Living 450 miles away, unfortunately not, although of course I shall be following TUFC all the way.

Wayne Thomas

Wayne Thomas will be welcomed at the Turnbull Ground (Whitby Town) next season, not least by me. He is one of the very few TUFC players I can endorse after our (TUFC) relegation in 1972. Rushall Olympic (near Walsall had a fair season last time and can be expected to be at least mid-table in the com...

Final Game - North Ferriby @ 12:15

Yes, gateman, there have been some great 'keepers in my time: Mahoney, Dunn, McGuire, Donnelly, Southall, Olejnik, to name a few that come to mind. There were duffers too: Lee, Rice, you know who...(Allen), but the greatest of all was, of course, Terry Adlington.
